Skyrim bad flickering. Unplayable. Never seen it before like that.

First driver since 14.4 that actually works fine with Eyefinity and seems to be fine everywhere else too, albeit hotter than 14.4

Does it fix the DX9 artifacts and flash/dxva BSODs?

I have no issues with DX11 in BF4 and never had. (using fullHD, win7, my overclocked config, settings maxed out, except MSAA - switched off)
Performance is getting better with almost every driver update and almost every patch for BF4. (no improvement with this driver after 14.7rc3)
Mantle shows about 10% more fps, but have huge fps drops and crashes sometimes =)

    as far as i know its GCN 1.0 (7800/270, 7900/280 ...) issue (and maybe GCN 1.1 (7790/260x))
GCN 2.0 (285 and 290 series) is free of it, and before-GCN-generations also have no that corruptions.

Just finished playing some Skyrim with these drivers, ran great.

Also played some Grim Dawn, Van Helsing and TF2, all ran fine.

These still have the heat issues...wow whats that 8 months so of these 14.x drivers having this issue on some systems(inc mine..again 13.12 Zero issues) without any fix or suggestion of what the issue/trigger might be from AMD...slack :puke2:

looks like i'll be sticking with 13.12 till maxwell 88xx's hit.....

With hd7670m in some dx9 games (and few non-dx9) i've seen weird flickering which i was removing by enabling vsync or in game or via ccc, try that.

I know a tiny bit of heat isn't the best thing, but is it really that big of a deal? Are you saying your GPU is running near-borderline critical temps or something with 13.12, and newer drivers push you past that?

When 14.4 gave me about 85-90c (2033 REDUX) (With OC and raised PL & vCore obviously or it would be much lower) and 14.8 push it up to about 93c (95c being max) then yea it's quite a big deal

Well i tried 14.7rc3 the other day (safemode/ddu ect ect) using GeDoSaTo @4k running spacemarine

@99% GPU usage & 100% fan i got 97-98c then a thermal throttle kicked me back to 500mhz untill i rebooted.

running 13.12 10 mins later same settings 83c max all night so yep its not just a few degrees under fullload.

Means its using the gpu harder, can only be a good thing squeezing out more perf

Could be. Thing is when running Skyrim on a intel chip it was all fine.

I suspect something went wrong as I didn't use driver sweeper; instead had drivers cleaned with something else, newer apparantly.

I'll try again, uninstalling drivers, driversweep rest of it and clean install on top.

    HD7000/M, HD8000M and some new R cards = GCN 1.0
    R9 290X, 290, 260X, 265 + Kaveri APUs = GCN 1.1.

    There is no GCN 2.0
