Okay, so this thime the photo's aren't showing a black design ? Basically the GTX Titan Black Edition would become a new GK110 based card featuring the full 2880 Cuda cores, 240 TMUs and 48 ROPsw...

Anyone looking for a cheap workstation/compute card will be going nuts for this.

It says Titan has 6GB on chart.

I am more concerned of 790 having 10GB of memory.
    1) Its not two 780 under same hoof?
    2) Usable memory would be only 5GB, instead of 10GB...

    1) it's supposed to be two GK110 chips with 2496 core each (like the K20)
    2) Dual chip cards always advertise the total vram. Really it's 5GB mirrored.

Out of them all, the 790 is the one I'm most interested in, it has the perfect balance of vram and gpu horsepower compared to the others.

  7. A newer and better Titan for the same price.

    A dual GK110 card for $1000.

Wake me up when that happens, it it happens at all.

    20nm isn't ready and I doubt 28nm Maxwell's are significantly better.

I may upgrade to a 790, depends on the price and what you get for the money.
Then again i may not as what i have know eats everything i throw at it.
    And thats without the 4930k.

Yea, me too, the only card that I MIGHT get if things are right is a 790, it's just a bit risky because Maxwell is really behind the corner this time arround. I don't know if the performance boost ill be significant, but still getting a 790 in say April and then have Maxwell come out in September or so is a bit lame. I might just go 790 and then wait for the 20nm Maxwell refresh whenever that will come out... hmmm.

Screw the Titan Black and the 790. I'll wait for a GTX 880 thanks. It will probably give similar to better performance with a cooler running chip and cost about half the price.

For me, I still have to say no to all of these options.

I don't think I'll bother with Maxwell unless as always, I find a buyer for my GTX 780's.

If I don't, I'm not going to sweat it one bit as I feel no need to upgrade. Just worried about my Vram a bit though. Gaming at 2K (1440p) is cutting it really close with 3GB on board with some of the newer titles.

No need to upgrade with 2x780.

hmm it seems my decision to upgrade to 780 from 680 was the best. nothing can outpace the 780 after decent oc, my only upgrade will prob be 20nm Maxwell GM110/GM100

790 would be great though wish it listed with 5760 cores (2880x2)

Don't think the specs were any real secret. 2880 cores and 6gb were given. Only variable is clock speed. Vram speed was what I expected.
