Yup. All bolted in correctly. Just gotta install some stuff onto the engine, figure out the wiring, and some body work.

    Messing around in Photoshop.
Trying to make the 2012 Impreza not look so boring and thankfully it looks like it won't take much to change to make it look more sporty. I'm pretty much set on this car now. I was really set on the 2011 WRX and didn't think MPG would be such a selling point a while back, but it sure is now.
It's not the best looking car, it's not the fastest, but hell, I'll take it for what it offers, which is AWD and a welcomed 27/36 MPG. Compared to my last POS that was 20MPG, it really starts to look good despite it's physical appearence.
I do plan to try and get it up to about 200HP, add some wider/lighter rims, better suspension that can withstand offroad driving, and some chassis stiffening. The car is lighter than the previous years, but I want to try and reduce it further.
Makes it seem like I should just buy a 2011 WRX, but I kinda think they are overpriced a bit. 2012 Impreza is going for about $18K, and 2011 WRX is still around $30K here...So I was like **** it, 2012 Impreza it is! It also uses regular gas, woot!
I'll probably get it the month it comes out, so now I just have to wait a few months...

its a 2.0 Ltr GT, i was trying for ages to get the headlights to go off, as i felt a bit of a tit driving around with them on in the middle of the day, but ive just discovered, that cars built after Feb this year, the lights can't be turned off, its law now apparently, they some sort of daylight driving lights, you learn something new everyday :p

It reminds me of a stormtrooper :D

Canada has been enforcing this for a while, I'm not sure why. It just unnecessarily wastes your bulbs.

Does seem odd, as no point having them on when its the middle of summer, 200 degrees with the sun blazing, i can just switch it to my sidelights i guess, as they are only little square ones just below the main ones lol

DRL (daytime running lights) are mandated in Canada. DRLs and an o2 sensor change were the two things that needed to be done when a Canadian buyer came down and bought a car. DRLs are now a programmable feature.

Its weird I agree but DRLs are pretty much all LED's..

DRL's have been mandatory here since the 80's. To me, a car looks odd when it's driving around with no lights on. I believe you're fined if you're caught driving with no lights.

They still aren't mandated in the U.S., although they're pretty common regardless sense manufacturers tend to just do it for all cars they make due to selling them in two markets. My van has them because it was made in Canada, but I drive it down in the States.

Yea.... they are quite smexy cars. Kinda looks like a cross between a Golf and Jetta. The new Jetta's are quite nice looking. If i could sell my Smart, that's what i'd get.
