    Don't use DriverSweeper... that's all.
The files asked to be overwritten are the most nessesary parts of the driver, by the way.

So just uninstall the current driver with the software-panel, restart, install new drivers, restart again and you will be done.

    Razor

And sorry for my bad english...

SLI is broken for me with 175.16 whql ;)
I can enable it but I don't get any performance increase...
That's why I tried the 175.70, but I can't enable SLI with them lol
Then 175.75 crashed my PC after 20s of any 3D applications.
So now those 175.80 are scaring me... dunno what new glitch / crash I'll get :bang:
I'm starting to think about reinstalling the almighty 174.12

Rich are you sure you have the chipset drivers installed properly? I see your exact problem a lot of times when the chipset drivers are hosed.

i'm having the same issue on vista x86, can enable sli.
but as soon as i play cod4, the fps stay on the level of a single 8800GT non OC, or the game crashes.

even already updated the bios of my 1st 8800GT which had an older bios, since then the crashing is less, but the performance stay very low, so sli is not working for me on this driver.

got to say, all the 175 drivers or the ones above 174.85 (which run best for me) give me trouble like crashing and slow performance

    also runnning on 2 sparkle's 8800GT

All the drivers from XF have run well with me so far, and these are great. Crysis, Stalker, COD4, Assassins Creed running smooth and look good.

Hmm my two Sparkle 8800GT are kinda old now... I guess I should update their bios too. Where did you get this new bios mate? Thx :)
Anyway I agree with you, all 175.xx give no SLI performances and/or are unstable in SLI... I will probably install the 174.85 again but as I could remember they gave me crappy performance in Turok :bang:
    I'll check this out!

Yeah, same here. Both with 175.75 and these 175.80. Everything was ok in Vista x32 with 175.75 BTW, but something is messed up in x64.

Yeah those are on, the same happens if i just install them through device manager, by updating the driver, and even if i just start the installation without removing the old ones first (so it removes those itself first before installing), its well baffling, it only happens with 3x sets of drivers, the 175.16's, the 175.75's, and these 175.80's, tis well odd. :eyes:

Huge improvement in Crysis on my system Vista x64 with 9800GTX.

    Previously had 175.16 WHQL.

If you recall, when you just start the game, at the first spot you see an alien, their is a cutscene with a large boat. That point was pretty choppy and had large framerate drops.

With 175.80 these drops and skipping are completely gone.

Smooth as silk....well, as silky smooth as 30-45FPS can be.

Like whql is any good. 175.16whql freeze my system after playing a video for half an hour, sonetimes 10 minutes.

    175.63 doesn't!
