I have $200 to spend. What should I get. Don't care if it's Ati or Nvidia.

I have always tried to get the latest hardware we don't know what mantle will do for the 270x it may make it quicker than the 7950 I always find drivers are better for current gen hardware or at least they work on making them better for the latest hardware

If your not in a rush I would save a little more you would have more options then also what games do you want to play as this would influence which card would be better

7950 is the best card for around $200, no contest.

The 7950 will probably be updated to support mantle anyway so I'd get whatever is cheapest.

The R9 270X is just an OC'd 7870 with boost.

A 7950 would be a better deal seeing as it's the same price and can be OC'd to the speed of a 7970 (or better).

Personally I may get one myself, but I'm waiting to see what else comes out this holiday season.

7950 doesn't need to be updated to support mantle, it's a GCN card just like 7970, 280x and many other 7xxx cards and the 2xx cards.

Ok I have saved up a little more to spend. I got $275 now and I am going to order today and overnight it on Amazon.com. Please help me decide.
OMG I can't wait to get this tomorrow and get it installed. Me be very happy gamer  This 9800gtx+ has been great but its showing its age.

    Looking at these.

Also I was looking at these but from what I have seen they are very power hungry. Is that true?

Try find a 7970(GHZ if possible) or take it to $300 for a 280X.

Radeon 7950 hands down. You can get a 7950 with 3GB for cheap now, because of a huge drop and crazy sales.
