I'm looking into mods like this. I enable color profiles in FF for ALL images. But some p*** forums  that have hundreds of thumbnails in a page just chugg like a mofo... especially when I open a new tab with a 6 MP image or multiple tabs with 6 MP images.

I think it's really a thread power issue - happens when one CPU core gets pegged 100%. If FF was multithreaded like Chrome... I wouldn't have issues... Or maybe move to intel for better per core performance...

Mozilla should really start to do something to speed up the browser. It's just so damn slow. They seem to only optimise for benchmarks but in reality.... When I look my site analytic data Firefox is by far the slowest browser when it comes to page load times (IE is fastest, Opera and Chrome are close although Opera is almost as fast usually). IE11 is noticeably snappier even when compared to firefox with adblock.

Firefox is damn lagfest. Stutterer mess and laggy page scrolling. Especially when loading multiple tabs at once (or just loading one tab behind while scrolling the loaded page).

And why on earth they haven't released official 64-bit version for Windows already?

firefox original from mozila is much slower than versions that staff compiles around

    test 2 versions for example
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/pcxfirefox
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/lightfirefox/

in my test lightfirefox v32 32bit is more faster then all minimum 30% more faster then original firefox

    test you and post result

You can make FF display pages instantly instead of waiting for them to load behind the scenes before displaying to the user with a few tweaks

    Mine loads pages almost instantly

    .
The HTTP cache is now enabled by default in 32? What should I do about the old tweak to enable by setting "browser.cache.use_new_backend" to 1? I checked with a clean profile and it is set to 0 but a new "browser.cache.use_new_backend_temp" is set to enabled. Should I leave it as 1 or 0? :S
