Apple Iphone 5S / 5C Thread

Nope, the 5S will be identical in size to 5.

 

Lets put it this way: iPhone 5 is way too pricey for what it it.

 

Well 5S will be the usual price but 5C wont be "cheap" model compare to the rest of the market, it will only be cheap compare to 5S

 

Rumor mill thinks the 5c will have retina display and use the A6 CPU. I guess we'll find out for sure on the 10th.

 

If that's true the 5C will be the $99 phone the 4S will be the free phone or not exist anymore and the 5S will be the $199 phone I can't see then making the 5 and the 5C at the same time.

 

Yeah, I can't either. Makes sense I suppose given the relatively high manufacturing cost of the 5.

 

I remember hearing a while back that Apple wanted to go to a two phone a year model where they release a high end and a budget phone and get rid of the older models.

 

Wow I was right. That don't happen often.

5C doesn't seem to be anything special nor is its price going to be attractive enough. 5S seems to be good enough to be my next phone.

What a fail. Same **** in diff... I mean, in same package. Fingerprint reader? LOL. Just imagine people using it in winter time...

 

One good thing is they like HTC are also following the 'bigger camera sensor'. Their camera will no doubt be better than the HTC Ones.

Everything else was meh, its actually those damn rumors that ruined it lol.

 

I'm not prone to defending Apple stuff but really, how is a 64 bit CPU which is twice as fast, along with twice as fast graphics the same ****? And because once in a while it gets cold they shouldn't add a fingerprint sensor? How far is your head up your ***?

So the first 64bit CPU in a cellphone is same **** dude if you gonna bash do it with a little more intelligence it looks like you see the words iPhone and react and don't even look at the product SMH.

 

You don't have to use the fingerprint reader.

 

Great new models but I wish they phased out the 4S instead of the 5 (though that would place the 5C in an awkward situation lol).

 

Absolutely ridiculous prices for the supposedly budget model.

iPhone 4s is out, apple mock big phones, then release iphone 5 with a bigger screen.
iPhone 5 is out, apple mock plastic phones, say metal is better, then release iphone 5C in a plastic case.

Can see a pattern here...

Maybe some phones out there already has these stuff but apple mostly slow about it but this time well, it is good enough for me.

Useless feature. But guess what, I don't have to take my gloves off when I use my Lumia 920.

Twice as fast as their ageing processor? Hardly surprising, if it wasn't twice as fast it would be slow as hell compared to other SoC's out there. Besides, all new phones tend to at least double the performance so their new SoC is nothing special really.
