Hi, nvidia users alongside with the bf4 main thread, i would like to collect information about nvidia performance. as some amd users claim they can run it ultra with 2xaa between 60-70FPS, while our 670-780 can't run the game with aa, or have lot of fps drops.

Please post your card, in game settings and the AVG fps u getting(currently fraps is the only software that show fps under x64).

update your drivers to the ones just released with BF4 fixes.

On my 7970 I am running this game maxed out 1080p everything ultra, 4xMSAA and the lowest fps I have seen is 40fps its normally around 60-80fps . This is in a 64 player server as well.

If you ask me the game does not look that much better than BF3 to be honest, a few more graphical effects on the environment and that seems to be it really. Its a fun game though.

Try to enable "maximum performance" as PMM. Yet to confirm benefits, but it doesn't hurt either.

Runs ok @ ultra, SSAO, 2xmsaa, but only after I lowered postporcess to high and particle Fx to high..

If i kept all at ultra i could see some weird 25-30fps drops.

yep it runs very crap on my 780gtx , even on the lowest possible settings. GPU usage would drop down from 40% > 20% when that happened.

It was to be expected though since this a AMD title as they are working close with them and demos at E3 were already running on AMD cards.

i think Tomb Raider saga all over again, well i guess i won't buy BF4 until it all fixed, i grew tired of unoptimized games.

Well this is disheartening as BF3 played great at beta (with the exception of falling through the map). Good job DICE alienating a very large portion of your customer base.

It is only beta but in my opinion this is not good enough. I shouldn't be getting such sh*t erratic performance, dipping into the 40s quite frequently. Using driver 331.40.

With this performance its hard to even admire the graphics with it jumping everywhere, or even aim properly for that matter. With max or almost max settings my setup should be much better. Better fix this nvidia! Or dice? lol :puke2:

I played for like 10 minutes early in the morning with 55 players. MSI AB was not showing up so I don't know exactly what my FPS was, but it was well above 60. 2xMSAA only though, and Post AA at medium.

GPU usage was 75-99%, checked it after closing the game.

Really? I'm playing Ultra settings @1080p in 64 man server no issues. Lowest FPS I've seen is in the 40's. Highest was low 90's. This is with 4xMSAA enabled.

Don't use supersampling, try keeping it at the standard 100% in game.

    That will KILL the FPS....
