No real difference for Shift, still the same crappy performance. 15 fps on start with 15 opponents in front of me.

To improve Shift performance, disable Catalyst A.I and set Mipmap Detail Level to performance.. I have HD 3850 OC(512 MB) nd shift runs like butter with these settings.

    Nothing happened. Same ****ty fps with 15 opponents ~ 15fps, without cars(opponents) ~ 60fps+.

Nope, i have a friend with E4300@default and 8800gt@default and he plays without problem with decent framerate(1680x1050, max, 0af,4aa).
It's not cpu bottleneck. It's non optimized engine and ****ty ati drivers.

It looks like they fixed the shadowinstancing bug in WoW for these.. no more flickering shadows when it is turned on.

Looks like a decent performance increase in Dal as well. :)

Can anybody tell me if 3dMark Vantage runs fine with these drivers? I get a flickering ( shaking ) screen.. I just wanna know if its something in my rig or the drivers, because I only tried Vantage with these drivers.

I have problem with this driver,

My GPU folding drooped 25% when I check GPU utility its only showed 75% used compare to 96 to 98% in 9.9 any idea to increased GPU utility ?

Will download these, which are the newer? I am taking that the RC7 is the newer release, not RC6?

Plus what is it with ATI and releasing buggy drivers all of a sudden. I understand they have just released a new series of GPU's. But what about us 4x00, or 3x00, owners we need stable drivers too...

Is it normal to have only one option in the drop down menu for 4870X2. In all other drivers I had the second option for the second GPU. Here is a pic of what I mean

Which version is newest? RC6 or RC7....? I would of thought it would of been RC7, am I right?

EDIT: I have installed RC6 from ATI's website, and they are pretty decent drivers. Only tested FC2 and it was butter smooth at 1680x1050 4xaa ultra high DX10 settings never dipped below 60fps. RC6 are keepers for me for the time being, will test more games with them and see.

Would like to know the difference between RC6 and RC7 only thing I can see different is that RC7 is from MSI and RC6 is offical ATI drivers...

rc7 may be newer i think, but rc6 has one thing which improves win7 performance on AMD? (i mean, when moving things it seems...)

That seems good then for W7 users.

Just spotted that RC7 has a newer OpenGL driver

    RC7 OpenGL driver 6.14.10.9017

    RC6 OpenGL driver 6.14.10.9016

Direct3D driver is exactly the same version.
