iam expecting a bit action this time pls. too much deep espionage or how u call it. Nostalgia is good but change is welcome sometimes. enough with that Blink or what ever that sound which plays when enemy notices you.

i would like to see a Splintercell like MGS. this is my taste.

Out on PC? NO? Not interested, bought a PS2 and PS3 specifically for MGS and my PS3 has been sitting idle with maybe 200 hours use since i got it.
Love MGS but not worth buying a console for.( ahem..... anymore )

    too much work. awesome job.

but at the end of the day the only thing gamers care is shoot, kill, and howe the game plays.

PC elitists side: only AA and AND, and SSAO etc etc etc.

Well pretty sure i will enjoy both mgs games.
ive enjoyed every mgs so far (yes even MGS2 :p)
    story and characters are awesome.
even the AI is great. for instance deus ex revolution was really pathetic when it comes to that. MGS far better

here's where MGSV is likely to sit in the MGS timeline:

    1964 - Metal Gear Sold 3: Snake Eater (PS3)

1970- Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (PSP)

1974 - Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (PSP

    1974 / 1975 - Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (PS3)

    (Big Boss enters nine-year coma?)

1984 - Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

    1984 - 1995 Metal Gear Solid V: Diamond Dogs?

    1995 - Metal Gear (MSX)

    1999 - Metal Gear 2 (MSX)

2005 - Metal Gear Solid (PSone)

    2007 - 2009 Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2)

    2014 - Metal Gear Solid 4

2018 - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Game is looking great. I just hope they don't bomb with the story.

I'm thinking of this game Crysis 3. Yeah horrible storyline but great graphics.

tbh when have Crytek ever had a good story in their games, i gave up completely after Crysis 2. Didnt buy into Crysis 3 hype because i knew as usual the story would be crap. So i didnt buy the game. They do great gfx, ok/usual FPS gameplay and crap stories/character development. I ahem tried the 'demo' for 30 minutes, story was crap as usual so uninstalled. Before all the holy joes jump in i could have played the PS3 demo, only PSN download is crap and the mrs hogs the telly.

MGS on the otherhand, well the story in 1 was brilliant, didnt like 2, 3 was great but not as good as 1 and 4 was as awesome as 1( if a little complicated lol ). Compared to crysis games story wise there 1 million times better.

They probably used a pc to show off the game. though that doesnt mean the game cant be run on ps3 with lower settings.
anyways its been announced for ps3. (and not for PC)
