So i have a cpu i want to overclock. Now please dont tell me all this stuff about insufficient cooling in the laptop etc. i just wanna find out the pll number so i can do a tiny overclock. if you could tell me like what pll number could be that would be great or if you know the exact pll number that would be great. Nothing wrong with starting young. I do find it difficult to condone with younger people however. I started fairly young myself (fiddling that is. Harr), the problem is at the time I didn't consider the worth of what I was doing. I was using a machine that was not inexpensive, bought by my family to help me through exams - and beyond that they were good enough to spend enough to make it capable of running games well. It was not my own money on the line should something go wrong. Suffice it to say that as I grew older I respected the money spent on me more. I'm not saying our 14 year old friend is incapable of doing the right thing, or that he shouldn't explore and learn by doing. Rather he should consider the investment of money when doing it -- unless he bought it himself.
