New system. Gigabyte mb. Never overclocked. win 7 64 bit.

Playing lotro and MSI afterburner says temp stable at about 64-65 C
and color great. Setting in lotro generally set very high.

I walk into a room that has some yellow in it ie gold and all of a sudden im yellow saturated. All is yellow except edges of stuff which is black.

As soon as I walk out if the room color goes back to normal. Have rebooted
and still does it. When I am in room and yellow I set graphics in game from very high to high and color turns normal. Is there a weakness with radeon card for yellow color?

Not that I'm aware of. That sounds more like the driver or game engine anyway, maybe DirectX?

Is LOTR the only game with the colour issue?

so far it is the only time ive seen a problem and I play 5 different mmorpgs.

I am using directX 11 which is kinda new for LOTRO I believe. I also wonder if trying to update the MSI drivers might be worthwhile. I dont want to go downward in graphic quality as that is why I bought this more expensive board.

LotRO has had DX11 for years.

ok one problem it's not then most likely driver issue.

Not sure though still why in that room it triggers when those colors are
elsewhere in the game too and never caused problem.

Dunno but it's unlikely to be the card. Try the usual fixes like reinstalling the game/drivers etc....

Indoors are used different shaders than outdoors. That is why Color itself is not culprit here. And AMD cards have in basic lower color saturation than nV which on other hand tries to burn those color with so called "Digital Vibrance".
