If you click the submit link on hwbot it tells you what you need to do for each bebchmark Cowie - I dont still have all that hardware, but had benches that I hdnt submitted. Have the e5200, phenom and 8 core mac pro. Gonna install win 2k or xp on that and run a few benches. I can clock the mac too no problem
max attack \ ygpm i got you a 53x 2500k backup but it needs volts. just regester choose guru3d as your team then click submit score then rest is self explanitory have a good ss or a fm link.. we need you man good luck were getting there
Edit: @Cowie There's guys (or gals) on hwbot getting 1700+ unigine x points with single 6950's at similar clocks, how's that even possible? Just did a couple of benches at hwbot, 3dmark03 and unigine heaven extreme. 950/1400 Guru3d team Rank up to 86.
well alright bz shows up at the party good jo! i dont care for that bench i saw too many flaws i it when it came out...
yeah when i bench nv cards have same issues with am3 on anything passed 197.45 . o1 does still respond ok You seem to be benching like a banshee holy crap! you have like 35 submissions in 1 day
yes your better score goes right over a lesser old score. both are kept in your profile thuo i have a 250 too i ran today its rams go 1380!! gts250 512mb asus dark night.
Yep, can't get AM to run, and couldn't be bothered using old drivers (though I just might, as I'll get some decent scores I'm sure). 03 seems to be responding well though, getting just under 60k. So gonna try break that 60k mark with the GTX 460. Should be doable. I added a couple of cups to the teams results too I'm getting a bit bored gaming at the moment, so saw this thread and decided to go for it. I'll try submit a few more today from the crappy work PC's lol *edit have my work E5200 benching a little faster in wPrime.
Dublin_Gunner when you run 03 drop those other tests. just run the first 4 tests gt1,2,3,4 hit esc. before the cpu tests start...all other tests have no effect on score at all and will just heat up your card. for 03 even just restarting after a run will give your score a boost on the next run. 03 is card clock hungry even slower cpu with high vga clocks will do ok. with 05 first 3 tests is all your scored on hit esc. before cpu tests,o5 is mostly all cpu speed. you guys without links and using ss's look at my sample in first post cpu,ram timings, gpuz, for 3d app settings resolution and detail results box must be shown it wont be easy gaining spots from here on out..to move 3 more spots it will take over 1000 points? you guys up for the challange?
Will give these another couple of runs tonight. Only 20 points to get into top 80 though we're actually tied on 81.
ok cool lol yea i can't get that high 1gb is holding me back, max is around 1225mhz (gpu has 1x8pin) :nerd:
Are you using the aquamark vista/7 x64 patch? http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=15135&d=1212618488
Gonna start submiting some benchmarks. Just submited my CPU one @4.2Ghz but I selected 4x Phenom instead of leaving it at default
started benching, got to 7th hardware rank with a 6950 with 3dmark11 extreme, somethings wrong with the comp though unless some are cheating with the tesselation slider, guys are getting better scores with same rigs and lower clocks, hmmm gona try different benchies and old benchies nobodys doing to try get points up
I've been doing them; superpi, 3dmark 2001 se, 03, 05, 06, pcmark 05, aquamark etc Not all benchmarks give you points though, so check the list first (i.e 3dm11 doesn't give you hwbot points for some reason). Just got ranked 16th for my gtx 460 there in Unigine Heaven. Quite pleased with that, 1.6 points *just did another run, and jumped to 14th, 1.7 points yay me!
yeah noticed just done 3dmark 2001se and trying maxxmem tommorow, my RIIE and corsair 2000mhz sticks might be able to show off there, how should I do it? drop the cpu multi a couple of steps and raise blk right? Should I keep volts the same and try or do something different? does timing matter? lol lots of questions Il try figure it out, tired now
You'll definitely want to clock them as high as you can, while retaining tight enough timings. You'll probably need a little extra volts, but don;t go too crazy on overvolting them. AFAIK keeping the CPU fairly high will help too, as the mem controller is on-die, though I'm open to correction on that point.
