S2innovation developed a new way of Dust Collector called 'S-Filter' and released the premium PC case 'AXIOM Pro' which is adopting the S-Filter for the first time in the world. Using the S-Filter...

My own case does pretty well against dust but it's going to build up over time so it still has to be cleaned periodically, I'm a little uncomfortable with using compressed air or I'd clean the GPU and CPU fans more thoroughly as well.

I can see this helping against dust buildup but it's probably still going to need cleaning every now and again with stuff that sticks to the various fans and heatsinks.

Nice, sold separately? Could use one if it works.

Why so ugly? Anyway, from my experience i find that proper airflow flux with air-filters block 99% of the dust. I may have to clean my filters once a week but my components barely touch dust.

Hope they will also include support bracket for GPUs, don't think they are meant to bend on opposite way, especially PCI-E :S

Some higher res photos. I like it although the design is kinda.. too much pr-2010 era. Too Sci-Fi. But nevertheless I like.. ;)

" the mesh type filter may cause plugged up with the dust as time goes on. So, the whole performance of PC including cooling efficiency and stability is rapidly degraded."

Wow. What bs marketing is this? It either works or overheats. There is no in-between state where one can observe lower performance.

Furthermore, all dust filters are a pain the a**. Buy a cheap made in china compressor or canned air and clean your PC once in a few months and you are good. Cleaning dust filters once a week? Damn, sounds like a chore. Might as well go water cooling and just clean your radiator once in 5 months...

Not really, as my two front intake fans with air filters come right off and i just have to pull out the filters and wash them. Can do it in 2 minutes.
