It is great, it is a mix of HDR AND long exposure with some post photoshop effects.

I like it because it has a dreamy tone to it. :)

I like it overall, but I'm not a fan of how distracting the yellow roads are overdone. I like the affect, but would like to see it toned down a bit. It overpowers the rest of the piece and draws a LOT of focus just to that. Especially with a large building in the foreground, there is too much weight in the front right for my taste.

Its either fake or someone went to the trouble of removing all cars from the roads.

Spot on mate, finally someone came out with the truth...

The photo is indeed fake since it's been heavily edited and cars have definitely been removed from the roads...

I've been living in Dubai for around 5 years and I'm yet to see traffic worse than here!

Even at ridiculous times of 12:30 and 1:00 am at night there is traffic in certain areas. Dubai is a city where no one sleeps!

Traffic here is far worse than the UK or any other place I've seen...

Why does that make it 'fake'? Editing a photo means it's no longer really a photo? At what point does it become 'fake'?

Very nice, also yeah the 'dreamy' touch has a appeal to me too.

Dubai does not look like that. The weather has been edited and the cars have been removed. The specific area is full of traffic 24/7 yet there is not a single car visible in the photo...

I would love to see the before and after photo...

    Well said.

Photography is an art, it's not just about documenting exactly how something looks in the real world.

A little late to the party, but there is another pic I found of the same spot with almost no cars on the road again. There are a few, but if they were removed via Photoshop, then I think they would have removed ALL of them.

It seems more likely that there is a time where there are no cars on those roads for whatever reason.

My post count isn't high enough to post links but just add http to it:

The question is, as the OP suggested, he says it looks drawn - do you think it looks drawn?

I can't comment on the lack of cars and yes, I would say some editing has happened. I don't think it looks drawn though.

In regards to the cars, I don't necessarily think that, if there were cars, they were photoshopped out. A multi frame stitch would enable you to selectively drop in photos where there were no cars.

No. When you shoot at night with long exposures (not sure how long this one was, haven't seen Exif) you will not see cars.

See the first pic here http://www.momondo.com.au/inspiration/luxury-hotels-in-london/#Zq2vtcvB8QZmTXO4.97

You see those white and red lines on the road? They're cars. Only in places (where they're moving) you can't see them. When stationary, you can of course see them.

Now I don't know how smoothly the traffic was moving in that shot, but if there's any cars going slow or stationary, they would be visible. If they're all travelling at a high enough speed, you won't see them.

I see some weird reflections on a couple of buildings too, which makes me think they've been tampered with.

Great pic. Just looks weird because of the exposure, which was probably necessary given the light.
