Luckily you have Vista/Windows 7, else you will just be BSOD-ing

yeah i know about TDR and i never had it before with any 28x.xx - 290.xx.. Only these two 300.89, 300.99 caused it, both times at desktop (nothing flash related).
Imo that's why there were never meant for public (other gpus)..301.10 were fixed but felt sluggish, 301.2x are ok.

Anyway I tested Resident Evil5 (fixed benchmark) and they ran slower compared to 301.25 with fps drops by loading new areas..

I reverted back to 301.25 :infinity:

    Btw, these have Nview.

Right-o, a change log would be nice if bothering to give these driver a try, rather then guessing what these drivers aim for, if anything. Perfectly fine though considering they exists only on the dev site.

Hmm might have to give these a try the other 301.xx drivers have had horrible stuttering for most games with VSync. I've been using the 300.89 drivers since I got my GTX680 as those are the only ones that give smooth performance.

maybe someone could please test this driver with any other nvidia card then gtx680 if they can put more then 1000mhz on the core.

take care:gpu-z says yes but nvidia inspector shows you that it does not stick in 3d.

    thanks in advance

In Crysis 2 and Skyrim beta 301.25 much better then this. Also this driver not switching to P12 mode while watching video, only P8. 301.25 did. Roll back to 301.25.

I got some weird stuttering with these, going back to 301.25.

Has anyone else encountered a bug where the driver won't uninstall through add/remove programs?

Same here. Every single 301.xx driver results in stutter during BF3 and Batman:AC. Still using the 300.83 release because of it... so, hoping this beta is different than the other 301s

Well it looks like they went back to the 300 driver branch, maybe they scrapped the 301 branch?

    3d clocks solved???

So guys, do these drivers fix the problem of GPUs not getting into 3D clocks when playing games?? Anyone with geforce 5xx cards to tell??

If not, I'll stay with 296.39! :biggun:

Driver is fairly mediocre. Performance regarding fps is up a little. IQ is shoddy and colors are kinda pastal. Ever so slight microstutter in Crysis 1.

I am trying it now. No issues so far, but I didn't have issues with 301.10 either.

I am not totally sure yet, but the temp on my GTX 680 is going skyhigh with this driver 78+ without any OC.
Going to try revert back and see to be sure this is the case.

EDIT: Nah, driver seems fine in most games. Was just my Precision X 3.0.2 that had ticket off auto fan adjust.
