    Hi, I have bought a Notebook Lenovo G475 and reinstalled the machine as it comes with a load of crap and a version of Windows 7 Basic x64 which I hate. Fortunately I used Driver Magician to backup existing drivers and reinstalled a clean Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit SP1.

    Now I have 2 problems. I tried both official packages to update video driver:
    12-6_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc.exe
    and
    12-6_mobility_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc.exe

    And its doesnt detect the integrated video card.
    I supposed that it would work but it doesnt.
    How can I install an updated driver for video under Win7x64?

    This info is what I got from the existing driver:

    driverdesc=AMD Radeon HD 6320M
    infpath=oem3.inf
    infsection=ati2mtag_Wrestler
    MatchingDeviceId=PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9806&SUBSYS_397C17AA&REV_00
    driverversion=8.862.6.5000
    driverdate=2011-12-14
    providername=ATI Technologies Inc.
    class=Display adapters
    filenum=56
    signature=Windows Vista
    needrestore=yes
    backuptime=martes, julio 31, 2012

    Do I have to mod an inf? Will it work correctly under 64bit?
    Please help.

    The other question is, do I need chipset drivers? I didnt try yet buy suppose that this package "12-6_vista_win7_32-64_sb.exe" is the correct one?

    Thanks for the help!

    Thanks for the help, but I was looking for an updated drivers. That one is from 2011... Newer games (Diablo 3, Torchligh 2, Krater, Orcs Must Die 2) which work on an E-450 will have problems with that old driver.

    I tried to install 12.7 official beta (catalyst_12-7_beta_windows7_20120629.exe) and guess what... IT WORKED! I want to know why 12.6 WHQL doesnt and how can I make compatible as I dont like beta drivers.

    He has AMD CPU.

    Said it once, I'll say it again. AMD support of these switchable laptops sucks. You'd think they could at least support the ones with AMD CPUs and AMD GPU.

    I'd be happy if I were you with the 12.7 beta. I'm actually using it on top of leshcat 12.6 WHQL drivers. No problems so far.

    Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that latest 12.8 WHQL drivers recognize and work ok with this Notebook. Thanks all for the support.
