PREY (2017) | Prey 2 [Cancelled]

After a few years of rumors, Human Head Studios refusing to comment and Scott from 3DRealms not talking, seems it's time.
ZeniMax are ready to reveal PREY 2...



If someone could grab a copy of that mag once it's out, that would be awesome. Here's a link to the site where the issue was first shown... I've already translated it through google.
To me, this is awesome news. PREY was an amazing shooter and still one of my favorites.

 

Hopefully it won't completely suck.

 

The first one was so good. It made Doom 3 look like a ****ing joke with how well they used Id Tech 4...and a much better game.

Tommy was an awesome character, he reacted, it felt alive. When he saw Aliens, he didn't just start killing like nothing. He reacted, was afraid, freaked out. I loved it. He swore. Felt like a real person.

Was odd you couldn't die, but oh well.

 

Not really. It was just an entirely different experience.

 

Looking forward to this.

Loved the magnet/zero G type parts.

I know this game did not get great reviews but I like it and a classic music track in it also !

Yes but at time there was many negative reviews and feedback from real peeps not "paid/in pocket" review sites who give COD recent crap 80+% was not too good.

I still stand by I loved it !

I have been waiting for this game for ages!!! So happy its finally being released!

The first Prey was an extremely underrated game, and nowhere near enough people played it!

Excellently paced, great story, set pieces, awesome organic weapons, cool looking aliens, great game mechanics (ie wall walking!), it performed extremely well, and looked amazing too!

The fact that they set it up for a sequel at the end just added insult to injury when the game basically flopped which to me was the biggest shame since the Beyond Good & Evil flop, and I am still waiting on that sequel too! I'm talking to you Ubisoft!!

 

Honestly, I do not care if it's the second generation Super Mario Bros 3D. If the cover states 'Prey 2' I'll buy it.

 

Very nice. I hope that Jeremy Soule will compose the score for it, Prey's OST wasn't bad at all (not Soule's best, but good nonetheless).

Despite some horrible issues with tearing it was a great game. Looking forward to this.

 

Prey has one of the best intros to a game ever, though the rest of the game is kinda repetitive. Excited to see how this one will turn out

No doubt it's going to use id Tech 5, since the engine is being used within Zenimax.
