What's your favorite game of 2013 thus far?

REALLY???

No one mentions this epic game, gave me goosebumps while playing, and I nearly had a heart attack three times from the sheer madness that ensues. Also some of the best and most demanding graphics I have ever seen, my PC was literally on fire while playing. Keep a fire extinguisher near when playing and a couple pairs of clean underwear as you may just **** your self while playing its that good.



seriously mine is BioShock Infinite all the way. The ending was simply superb and one of, if not the, best ending to a video game ever. Followed closely by Red Dead Redemption's ending which too was a shocker. As for other games, Metro LL is so far pretty awesome not finished it yet though. Far Cry Blood Dragon was great fun for the price too, but I got slowly board after I had taken over all the garrisons.

 

Still workin through myself, but have really enjoyed it so far. Wish Prey 2 would hurry up and i hope its like whats was advertised last year.

 

Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider

 

Tomb Raider easily takes the crown for me.

I haven't finished Metro yet though.

Strikefleet Omega... Taking up all my free time in between commutes and when I can sneak in 10 mins of game time! Feels a bit like Homeworld with tower defense in space!

Man do I miss Homeworld! Any other games as good at that series?

 

Metro LL, Tomb Raider and BioShock. I enjoyed the first 2 the most but BioShock's story did surprise me so that's a +.

Tomb Raider - thoroughly enjoyed it.

Metro LL too inconsistent for me, ranging from great to tedious moments in gameplay.

Bioshock Inf is not on my favorites list, maybe because I detest over-hype. It had its moments, but was too short-lived.. basically an average game to me. Wiped it off my HD after finishing it.

Seems like a lot of simulator games out this year. Farming, Euro Truck and now Surgeon Simulator.

Sonic All Star Racing Transformed easily.

I know it was released in 2012 on consoles but it was released on PC at the end of Jan 2013. Its one of the best kart racing games I have ever played and the devs have been great in regards to support - even to the point of making changes to how the graphics display for a fraction of the player base (who missed the requirements stating their cards weren't supported) and giving out free DLC to community members who are helpful.

Such a criminally unsupported game by PC gamers with under 100 peak players now (it never even made it past 1000 peak players at its highest amount). This is such a shame considering how good it is, how good the port was, how cheap it released at and the amount of support it got.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

I've had more fun with it then any other release this year. From gameplay, atmosphere... feel... story... everything about it is great.

Second would probably be FarCry 3: Blood Dragon.

What do ya know. Both are 15 buck budget releases from Ubisoft.
