razor, we are talking about the PDsetup.exe not the whole driver, idk what you mean :S, do they help gaming in any way with a "normal" card? (aka 9600 for example)

Me too but AA & AF drop down don't work. But anyway, this driver is fast. Finally broke 8K in Vantage without OC.

Testing these in Windows 7 and I'm getting 3 fps more in Far Cry 2 than I ever have on any Windows versions, also GTA IV seems to have got a few fps increase as well. Overall these drivers kick ass.

I just finished benching with Vantage and I scored P4996. This is the first benchmark I've done on this system. My last benchmark was done with an Athlon 64 X2 3800+, 2GB DDR1 and a 9600GT with Forceware 180.70

On my last system I got P5215 3DMarks with the 9600GT. With the 185.20 driver on my new system with the same 9600GT I scored P4996.

    Yes, it's there.

Some profiles work and some don't. For example jedi academy profile is pretty much unusable.

GTA IV Benchmark w/ Forceware 185.20

    Average FPS: 42.21
    Duration: 37.22 sec
    CPU Usage: 78%
    System memory usage: 59%
    Video memory usage: 97%

    Graphics Settings
    Video Mode: 1440 x 900 (60 Hz)
    Texture Quality: Medium
    Render Quality: High
    View Distance: 25
    Detail Distance: 37

    Hardware
    Microsoft® Windows Vista" Ultimate
    Service Pack 1
Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT
    Video Driver version: 185.20
Audio Adapter: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
    AMD Phenom(tm) 9750 Quad-Core Processor

There is something messed up with the driver. It doesn't detect my monitor's native resolution which is 1440x900 and it defaulted to 1280x800. It was easily fixable but I had to make the adjustment in all my games.

I think there is a bug in this driver. I can not see any profile in the drop down menu of cp, but I will use this driver ... coz I can play prince of persia with it.

I re-ran Vantage after finding out that the driver didn't install the PhysX system software. I installed the standalone 8.11.18 and got a much better score. P5563 this time around. So looks like these are faster drivers after all :)

anybody know of a better website where to get these new drivers? I haven't seen them pop up on guru3d yet and that website, I only get 15kbps download speed from there and constant freezes o_O. I usually get my max of 840kbps or 6.5mb

Yeah, d/l speed is pretty slow right now. Seems like all Nvidia fans have woken up from their new years slumber.
