good review....as always cool card wish it was more clear...the foggy clear is cool but ya.....its not totally clear lol
tin just put up easy v-mods for the 780 ti kp card here http://kingpincooling.com/forum/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=2459
This is 3GB right? Seems like a lot of money for something which may not have the framebuffer to push MSAA AND high res textures in some games.
My memory fails me a little, but i could have swore i read somewhere that this was going to be available as a 6GB monster! expecting it to be in the $1000+ range though
The point of this card is extreme overclocking and benchmark results. Bigger memory is not needed there, and the price of a 6 GB vram version of this card would be... otherwordly lol.
Well the 780 Ti Classified is $750. So I'm expecting the Kingpin edition to be no less than $900. Finally, someone who gets it.
The only thing that Kingpin and TiN had in mind when they collaborated on this card to was achieve the highest overclocks “In order to break world records these days you need some serious hardware,” said Vince “K|NGP|N” Lucido. “This card was engineered to serve one purpose… be the world’s best overclocking graphics card. Expect GPU clockspeeds at over 1.85GHz with extreme cooling.” http://www.evga.com/articles/00813/ Someone has already achieved 1900Ghz with Ln2 and there was a post about it over at Tomshardware.
