I've updated the program, now it can just be a single exe, no need for the zip and extracting it all, it now has devcon in resources, and extracts it's self from the program, but I can't upload the new version because I can't upload to the Google Drive. So you'll have to wait on Wagnard.

This update is recommended for. Nvidia user as it clean more stuff related to the updatususers (nvidia update / experience)

There is also some log work and the integration of devcon directly inside the exe.

For more details, refer to the svn changes.

    with 3.5:

Is it a normal log? Or strange errors?

    oem2.inf found
    Executing Driver Store cleanUP(Delete OEM)...
Deleting the specified driver package from the machine failed

because it is in use by a device.

    oem3.inf found
    Executing Driver Store cleanUP(Delete OEM)...
Deleting the specified driver package from the machine failed

because it is in use by a device.

Yes at least 1 got deleted so its ok. The program wont delete oem that is in-use. So that why it will fail on some...
do you have any other Nvidia device? because if some oem fail to be remove it indicate that you may have some other nvidia device or (i hope not) there could be a bug in my code...

EDIT: There is also a new device installed by NVIDIA since the recent drivers release that I will add to the cleanUP (Thanks to you, I didn't saw that before today). This device can cause what you have described to me. Should be included in 3.6 keep me posted if you try it.

    Release 3.6

Mostly added 326.41 removal of Shield streaming service and driver (NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible)

Other small change too that you can see on the svn.

Oh and look like I my thread got pinned on the official Nvidia geforce forum. It is quite an honor to me.

EDIT: 3.6.1 up now. little fix

    Well it looks good.
Usually there should be at last 1 oemxx.inf that succeed with the removal unless you previously removed the driver or if its the second time you run the DDU.

Is there any other nvidia hardware on your system except your video card?
Was your driver that you were using came directly from nvidia or third party like Asus, MSi etc...
Try to see after running my DDU with Network disconnected if there are still driver anywhere from nvidia in device manager

What is the name of the videocard shown after you cleanUP with DDU on device manager?

Used v3.6.1 today and everything went well. Used CCleaner afterwards to be sure everything was removed.

    Try something for me.
When you use DDU and get some oemxx.inf can't be deleted because they are in-use, right after DDU complete, run it again(before installing anything or reboot) and tell me if they are removed on a second pass . all of this with internet connection disabled of course.

Just a little preview, I plan on updating soon with Multi-threading, so the UI doesn't freeze while uninstalling/cleaning. Multi-threading isn't easy, so it may be a few days, just letting you all know.

    Release V3.7

    -DCOM cleanUP from registry.
-more log details (mostly the result of devcon dp_enum)

    No multi-thread yet.

If some people get those oem are in-use, please send me your log and also if you can find any NVIDIA device still installed on your system right after running DDU 3.7

Haven't tried the most recent version, but with 3.5 I noticed sometimes even after disabling SLI the monitor went black and required a computer reboot. Other than that the Uninstall program seems to work fine.

Ya this is a Nvidia issue with some older driver. Happen to me too sometime in win 8 even when I disabled SLI...

Didn't happens with recent 320.xx driver for me tho.

Instead of RESET, just hit the power button(no holding) so the computer shutdown normally
Because the system is not frozen. its just a black screen. A reset tend to corrupt things.

nvidia usb device is the 3d vision 2 device (oem22)

hmm it's strange now it installs 326.19 driver after clean uninstall completed, oem2 is not deleted i guess that's from this file.

oem22 is a 3d vision 2 device? thanks for the info. This will be fixed soon.
now im curious as of what is oem2.inf ...

Does something does not get removed from "Display adapter" (in device manager) after running DDU?
Why is the driver installation strange? it wasn't working before?
if so, could be because I'm cleaning more stuff with 3.7
