I've been having this ongoing issue with my Sapphire Radeon 6950 for the last month or so. It happens that the drivers crash and BSOD (atikmpag.sys and atikmdag.sys according to the dump file).
    The car is not overclocked.

The funny thing is that it only happens in two games (Brutal Legend and Skyrim) and always around the same spot.
Max Payne 3, BF3, L.A. Noir, Sleeping dogs and Far Cry 3 run without any poblems.
I can also run Furmak burn in test and Heaven benchmark without issues.

I was using Catalyst 13.2 beta 7 then rolled to 12.11 and still have the same issue.
I'm just using the drivers, I have not installed the Catalyst Control Centre.
I've also changed the power supply, flashed the card and mobo's BIOS. No joy.
I've also set my CPU to default clocks without success. The RAM is not overclocked.

    Using i5 3570k, 8GB GSkill Sniper 2133 DDR3 on a ASUS p8z77-VL-X mobo.

    Any ideas?

It will be drivers for those games, try underclocking the card for those games, or up the voltage a bit
