It does sound like jealousy. Reading driver threads it looks like AMD's drivers are better than Nvidia's now. Not that I personally have had any issues. These leaks look similar to what I'm expecting, faster than titan in Amd optimised games but slower in Nvidia optimised ones. 50% faster than a stock 770/680 is quite impressive, even with a massive overclock, the issue is if that is the norm or those are hand picked cards that actually do nearly hit 100c. Hope not, hot and noisy is an instant no buy for me
fanboy attacks will start now! gets out the popcorn!!!! both sides of the water are great amd and nvidia are very little apart now days they both make rubbish drivers loooool
Words of a wise man. My experiences have always been the same with both, periods of calm waters, periods of sinking, then hopping ship. it'll always be the same and I'll probably always switch from one t'other
RPGgamesplayer you enjoy the show? Instead watching tell us why you bought Titan X2 to replace your 780 X2? Not a smart thing to do...
i picked two up for the price of one so its pretty smart in my books more memory for higher resolutions 4k etc
Nvidia has a big enough user base that they don't need to worry very much. Unless AMD can keep this up for another generation, there will still be no solid competition. I'm very glad to see this, we need more of this. This was true about a year ago, not so much anymore.
i do not have any reasons to lie, a friend of mine needed the cash he is moving to south africa so i snatched them up, why else would i be selling my 780's so cheap. do the maths m8, do the maths...
People forgot about the Nvidia drivers issue that they had this year. The one where almost every game was unplayable due to artifacts in games. Also the one a few years ago where the Fan wouldn't speed up causing Graphics cards to overheat and break down...lol. So Nvidia and AMD both have their fair share of bad drivers. I'm also Nvidia fanboy but having to wait till next year for Nvidia to bring something that might be cool. My patients is up and can't wait forever to upgrade. My games are starting to lag cause of my Vram limit and my monitor that's 2560x1440@96Hz and I'm tired of SLI and so on. Maybe in about 5+ years from now I will try SLi/Crosfire again but for now no thanks. it's not the sli/crossfire that's putting me off but having 2 cards in my system is a bit of an issue due to the hot weather here and I don't have money for watercooling. I'm still willing to go with something like a dual gpu card.
I owned a 5970 for 8 months and couldn't enjoy it a single moment because of **** drivers. So i had my share of AMD experience.
HD 5970 was a dual GPU mess, same as GTX290 at the time. AMD drivers has really improved from then, you should try it sometime not to talk what happened 4 generations ago.
Some extra leaks from original source. 7950 as a base; Finally a great gpu, nv's offer is a disaster lately... Too much ripoff going on.
If you ment the 295gtx, that was a great card. quite the opposite of my 4870x2 which is the worst card i ever owned. anyways that was years ago
Trolling AMD card won't work here. AMD's drivers have been steller since the launch of the Never Settle drivers back in November last year. Shame the same can not be said for Nvidia who has been having problems with their drivers for months now. I see a lot of Nvidia users on here steering clear of certain driver branches. Also Nvidia do have something to worry about, its called Mantle. If it takes off which is looking very likely seen as BF4 is supporting it and that is a pretty big title others will follow. Also seen as AMD is in all three next gen consoles optimizations will sure follow for their higher end PC hardware. Please troll somewhere else when you have something worthy to troll about.
Just another nvidiot. SMH. Why is it so hard for people to be fans of both. And nvidia has sucked hard with drivers for quite a while now. Both sides go through is. I have been back and forth between sides for years now since 2005. 9800pro, 6800gs, 7800gt, 7900gt, 8800gts 512, 8800gts 320, 8800gts 640 sli, 8800gt, HD 3850, HD 4870, HD 4350, 8400gs, 9800gtx+, gt 520, HD 5770 crossfire, GTX 560ti, and both sides have both has quite a fair share of driver problems and hardware issues. Never had an radeon card die, but have had two geforce die. Im excited about the 290/x. I want stiff competition. I personally feel nvidia is raping the pc user community if you want high end. I cant never play there, but im not hating cause I cant. I just feel nvidia isnt as good in the $200-$250 segment as amd is in the last few years.
