Tech preview is out for those that own netkar-pro.

Very very good! Can't wait for the final release now.

Benn playing it most of the afternoon, it feels really good! graphics are great, and it all runs really smooth for me. Love the physics, absolutely brilliant. Here's a few screenshots I took today

Well worth the 4.99 in my opinion. The fact that you get netkar-pro is a bonus.

Netkar Pro is a great sim. I've had it for ages, but bought it again yesterday because I forgot my login on Kunos website lol. AC looks great for now. Love how sleek the menus are. and the little addons you can stick on your screen with gears/laps/pedals etc is a great idea!

I knew it would be good but didn't really expect this. Something that actually feels like driving a real car with proper grip and not hard to drive when not at the limit.

Just imagine all the other cars they are working on. If they can do them equally well this will be simracing heaven.

yeah, the physics are top notch. FFB is weird, the curbs at speed don't really give you much feedback, drive over them slow and you'll feel them though. I turned the in game ffb all the way up and it's pretty damn good already! the graphics also... I don't really want to mention that other game (pSHIFT) but they're great and what's most important, they look more realistic than anything I've ever seen in pSHIFT. There's still a lot of options to be added. Does anyone know anything about release date for AC? Even a vague one?

pShift. Now you're a funny one, aren't you. Looking forward to try this one though, it looks interesting to say the least!

This one has been on my radar for a while. Now that I don't think I will be going the raceroom route I might just have to give AC a try.

I have been following this game closely.
reading all comments how awesome physics is, I really want to try it but I don't want to pay 5 euros for Tech Preview :/

This game has a lot of potential, considering one of the top features they mention is that it will be heavily moddable :)

For those with G25/G27 like me:

    LOGITECH G25/G27
(tested and suggested by Aristotelis Vasilakos)

    In Logitech Panel
    Overal effects strength: 100%
    Spring effects strength: 100%
    Damper effects Strength: 100%
    Centering: 0%
    Degrees: 900
Allow game to adjust settings CHECKED

In AC -> Controls -> Advanced
    Force Feedback Gain: 80% - 85%

Q: Why spring and damper to 100%?
A: Assetto Corsa will take care of everything, don't worry. Only be sure to check "Allow game to adjust settings".

Dusted my wheel off yesterday, and bought Netkar so I could try the demo. I'm pretty impressed, great driving feel. Very good sharp ffb, works great with 900 rotation. I was pretty impressed with the driver animations, and sound effects. trackir works in it too. Too bad there isn't any multiplayer in the demo though.

I took some shots, looks great.

it's not a demo, it's a tech preview btw. I've heard rumors about a demo coming in the future, with more content. Have to say, the more I play this the more impressed I am. really, really good already.
