I'm not sure if this exactly qualifies as a bug within Afterburner, but it's definitely related.

The Origin in-game overlay will not work when Afterburner is running. In fact, to make the in-game overlay start working again, it's not enough to simply close Afterburner. You have to close Afterburner and restart Origin without Afterburner running. Then as soon as you start Afterburner again, the Origin overlay stops working again.

People have posted about this on EA's forums and they say they've been looking into it, but who knows. That was 1 month ago.

I've tried the latest version of Origin (both beta and full) and Afterburner (again, both beta and full). Not working in any case. I've tested it with Dead Space 2 and FIFA 13.

    My specs:

    i5-760
    HD 7950
    Windows 7 64-bit

Try stealth mode in RTSS properties. If it doesn't help, then there is an explict RTSS protection in Origin software and it can be resolved from their side only.

Not working with stealth mode either. Tested with Dead Space 2 and FIFA 13.

This is a known issue with Origin, not Afterburner. I've already contacted EA about it and they are aware of the issue. Don't expect a quick fix though.

Bummer. Stealth mode works for BF3 though, at least.

Yes, there is a problem with Origin. Stupid, lazy EA.
