These mug-shots and info on ASUS motherboards should have been undwer wraps until Computex. But ASUS USA apparantly decided to lift the embargo. Any discussion about  Haswell and its accompanying pl... Asus Z87-based Haswell motherboards
I've made the posts now readable to registered and logged in forum users. I'm still waiting on ASUS Benelux for the two thumbs up on showing these boards. These board where supposed to be under NDA.
Man, I'm jealous of those going Haswell using this board getting 10 Sata ports. My current board could have 10 SATA ports, but Asus decided to use up one controller for M-SATA, so I get 9. Granted I currently only use 6 of the ports.
What is "Dual intelligent processors"? This board looks like a worthy upgrade to my P6T deluxe. YOU JELLY?
lol, just wish they'd not included the m-SATA (I know they did it as part to justify the board's cost), but really its quite a pointless feature in my opinion. I dont care for the looks, im in for better cooling and its not to pricey either (pro is missing one heatsink) vs ROG versions (only extreme has full heatsink) and ROG versions tends to be over the top 300€+ Im hope this Deluxe won't be more then 230€.
Man I could use the SATA ports because on my current rig I am down to 1 that is not being used which is going to change sometime this summer. Also I dont like it not having 1 standard PCI slot.
Thanks for the info. I like the look of the Gigabyte board. I may end up with another Gigabyte board.
For the first time in 20 years hardware addiction i think i'm gonna pass this one but i sure want to try out a haswell system and to retire my 2600k
