I suffered from the same bug on my 570gtx with both 310.33 & 310.34.

btw, this was already "fixed" with 310.54, maybe they fixed it further (smoother/faster), i haven't tried this 310.61 driver in BF3 yet. :)

Edit: well they're a little newer

    310.33: r310_00-100
    310.34: r310_00-103

    310.54: r310_44-2
    310.61: r310_44-8

Lower LOD and object detail? Dont go to extreme.

They can have an affect on cpu and make such fps drops and gpu usage issues.

Buddy on GTX 690 confirms BF3 fixed as well. No more stuttery smoke effects.

yeah Nvidia, can you please fix the idle clock speed p-state bug?

it will not go under 405 Mhz for core clock even if you set the card to go to 135mhz in nvidia inspector with idle pstate

very annoying, please fix... the card is idling/always on 405mhz

    edit: with 660m mobility

Awesome! Time to enjoy Battlefield 3 at it's best again! :)

This issue was driving me nuts, sometimes I would get so mad I'd just disable Ambient Oclussion (SSAO/HBAO) even though it looks amazing, those slow downs really made me go nuts, glad they fixed them.

Do either of them experience the BF3 crashing issues alot of users are having?

They didn't say anything about crashing, and I know they are heavy into the game so they play in long spurts.

When are you going to put SLI in Assisins Creed 3? So far it crashes the game in SLI mode.

Too bad they aren't good ones. No sli for Need for Speed MW, only 50% gpu usage in Ass. Creed III resulting in 30 fps at times.

Even if they probably had access to AC3 long before (is it a TWIMTBP title?), the game was released just two days ago... but I know they're working on it.

I had BF3.exe crashes with the previous BETA drivers but with these so far I did not have any crashes, although I didn't play that much, overall 5-6 hours this week or so.

These drivers, include a SLI profile for Assassins creed 3 but its a bit pointless as the shadows flicker like mad in snowy areas making the game quite unplayable for those portions of the game,

    on 2-way SLI 680's

I'm using these and have played a lot of bf3 lately and i had no crashes at all. Odd that some people report that they have problems with these. Buttery smooth, running my 670 with 1202 Core.

310.33 runs pretty well with the games I currently play, so didn't bother to try this new beta.

I have discovered that just like Skyrim, AC3 has major issues when running over 60fps. Shadow flicker, object popping and other graphical glitches were fixed for me by turning on adaptive (half) vsync since I use a 120Hz panel.

Disabling SLI also gave better performance.
