AMD Radeon HD 4850 Crossfire review With the Force3D Radeon HD 4850 and PowerColor Radeon HD 4850. A pretty hectic day today as AMD moved forward the launch of the Radeon HD 4850 initially to be released... More...
Wow a quick overlook of the product and it looks amazing Crossfire is just as good as 1 GTX 280 I'd buy one but I'd rather go for 2 4870 as it's cooking up to be one awsome card
The $400 price tag (for two 4850s) compared to the $649 for the GTX280 (and getting similar performance) is really impressive, imo.
Wow, that's an impressive improvement..... all we need now are some good PC games which warrant buying a new card Saying that, if one of these puppies goes sub £100 I might well get one anyway.
Not bad at all!! Sick price/performance ratio! Thanks for the time and effort to get this (quality!) review online in these busy times! You must feel a bit stressy, Hilbert Makes me uber excited about the HD4870 ! When will the HD4870 review appear?
I'm waiting for actual street prices. All these numbers are meaningless because the shops stick their own god knows from where prices... What i see 299 bucks here is >300 euro in reality... thats what usually happens...
WOW.. The game has just started.. Love to see competition in the market. Definitely a nice card there.. Now I cant wait for the 4870X2
4850 already spotted for 149 EUR - 179 EUR. http://www.alternate.nl/html/produc...earchCriteria=4850&cat1=009&cat2=255&cat3=000 4870 though no stock spotted for 269 EUR. http://www.alternate.nl/html/produc...earchCriteria=4870&cat1=009&cat2=255&cat3=000
Don't badger him too much, Hilberts probably pulling his hair out as it is...:bonk: P.S. Great review, as always
Regarding the 4870 ETA .. it's really messy guys. AMD is changing dates day by day as it seems. First it was 7th July, then 3rd July, now maybe 25/26 of June ... So I do not have a clue just yet. Between next week or the week following is my safest answer. Yet samples have not yet been distributed.
