Quadro/Tesla Driver 285.58 WHQL

Well everything works ok in all the benchmarks above.. I used my own INF.


I didnt run them to end to see the results, only tested to see if it works and yep

 

This will take some Time.

 

Ive been looking for the FPS limiter for a long time I found a few but either its not working or not compatible with dx10-11... then I gave up but nvidia will release a new one thats good but I dont need it anymore lol

 

I wanted to know if there is a 32bit inf for this driver

Anyway i dl'ed 32bit pack and mod it myself, here you go :nerd:

Scaling in bfbc2 didnt work properly for me. Also wei went from 7.8 to 6 (two runs). Didnt even bother trying bfbc2, the 276.14 (or what thye are called) are nice.

 

hm WEI stayed the same here, i just did a quick refresh and its 7.9 by both.

 

Can someone mobility mod this for the cards in the BF3 beta driver win7 64bit?

 

Does that inf also get the DirectCompute 5 driver part installed?
Also, seems like this set doesn't install 3DVision stuff.

But they're not so smooth as 285.38.. Rage was ok, COD5 waw MP and Dirt2 had some hickups. Nothing serious but i thought i didnt notice that with 285.38.. Im gonna keep them until nv releases official GF driver.

 

I hope Nvidia release official drivers when Battlefield 3 launches

 

Am I wrong or is the first time that a quadro driver phails?
Had anyone tested/benched this against the .38 beta? The installer seems to have bf3 pics so I guess is the same driver?
Any feedback?

 

I've never seen these BF3 pics on my installations but the driver has been good so far.

 

With these drivers my gpu runs 450mhz in idle, but it should be only 50mhz, reverting...

 

They're on average.. Ok a little faster here and there, but idk i had an impression 285.38 felt smoother.

Its up to you to test it..



Also setup tries to connect to nv server and if you allow it it will DL's those setup pics.


As for the quirky issues:
- windows logo bug (artifact line) is still here
- P-state looks fixed again, like with any 285.xx

I presume NVIDIA must be close to releasing certified 285 series drivers for desktops/laptops then if these are out? It's been well over two months since they released a WHQLed set and that was the 280 series driver back in August. I know we've had a couple of 285 betas but it's been well over two weeks since the release of the 285.38 betas yet I thought ManuelG on the NVIDIA forum said certified drivers would follow mid-September?

 

Are you using two monitors? This only happens on my system when the second monitor is connected.

285 finals should by out within the next 8 days. ManuelG said they are going to release finals before BF3 release.


For me this set runs better compared to 285.38 beta. No performance improvements but also no "driver crashed to desktop" issues (atm).

 

If only we had some sort of confirmation about the fixed TDR in this release...

...i know that nvidia addressed it in the next driver release along with the fps limiter, but i wonder if it was already implemented in these quadros.

althought i think since these gpus are less prone to gaming use, there should be a real small percentage of situations that could trigger a TDR compared to gaming cards.

Maybe the bug is still there, but due to cards nature, its not triggered at all.

 

well..im not shure about the driver..i had 4 display driver resetts now..dunno if its the drivers or something else..first time that heppened here.

He said this Quadro contains TDR fix heh, maybe its the opposite for you..

edit: no i saw another user with 560TI and these Quadro didnt fix it..
