After removing this driver i got back to WHQL 12.2 but installing with WARNINGS in the end of the installation. After restart i got 2 or 3 crashes and GPU-Z is not showing OpenCL.I have remove 2 times 12.2 and installing again using driver sweeper but every time i got WARNINGS at the end of the installation and OpenCL in GPU-Z is missing and some random crashes at windows startup.I fix the problem using Atiman Uninstaller 6.3.1.The program completely remove all leftovers and i install 12.2 without errors and now GPU-Z is showing OpenCL.Sorry for the bad english.

finally a release that can replace the rc11 on 7970 crossfire and pwns it in every area

the ssaa improvements are very nice and is running a lot faster on all dx11 titles i play (bf3, saints row, civ5)

all skyrim flickers and artifacts are fixed...frames now rarely dip below 100fps at 2560x1600

ccc works well. none of the problems others reported. this was simply uninstalling rc11, reboot, install new drivers

overclock via ab is working fine but then i have unlocked bioses flashed across the cards

    spooky..
    it runs perfectly on mine..
BF3 and Skyrim are OK with crossfire and the 12.4 looks a winner..

this 12.4 driver, on my my system, averages over 90 fps
via Heaven Benchmark (at 1280x1024 - with 8/8)

    - which ain't bad at all..!! :eek:c:

Driver is working great here. Cat 12.4 beta is all green lights. Everything works as it did in the 8.95.5's.

OpenCL is finally checked in GPUZ also. I don't have the clock issue others report though.

Should we be using 12.2 CAP1's with these or no CAPs at all?

CAP 12.2's work fine here. I see no issue.

Anyone played with the OpenGL portion of these drivers? They are apparently the only thing updated over the previous 8.96 drivers.

This set is vastly different from the last 8.96. The fact that Crossfire works in BF3 and Alan Wake proves this.

Nope Portal 2 doesn't work with these and a single 7950 (CAPS or no CAPS).

Confirmed, Portal2.exe opens then closes by itself.

Holy crap these were horrible for me. It played fine with my single 7970 but when I added another for Crossfire I ran into BSODs (ATI driver message) and freezing anytime I opened up GPU-Z or CCC. I also tried this driver on another setup which had a 7750 and had nearly the same issue.

    Back to 8.950.5.

There is an improvement with "Direct 3D" with this driver release, but "Opengl" suffers quite a lot.

Not sure, but I think AMD only optimize the last two maybe three generations of their GPU'S .
If you are a 4xxx user or earlier like myself, your card will be supported, but don't expect it to be optimized for performance/image quality.

The clock issue was with the previous 8.960 marthand posted.
I can confirm there's no 'sticky clock' issue with this set.
