If its $600 in the US before tax then that is around £400, add vat of £80 and the usual rounding up so should be £500.

I'm hoping to pick one up in the US, should work out about £430-450.

I could get close to 11k with a better cpu oc, ram oc and I know my gpu can do more. What baffles me is why anyone would advertise a £550+ gpu by showing a score that is easily achievable by a £200 gpu?

Gibbo on cockers has hinted at the price of the 780 in the UK, over £500, below £600.

What time does the NDA lift so we can get official reviews and store listings?

for £500 I can buy 2x 7950. That will annihilate gtx 780. period. Guess I'll be buying another 7950 later on this year (for bf4, watch dogs etc)

    Thanks for sharing that :D

30FPS for Crysis 3 with 4x AA? I didn't know that game was so demanding.

Does Metro benchmark have their fancy downsampling AA also switched on?

the performance seems ok I guess. depends on how well they oc. still, weird that the 7970ghz beats gtx 780 in Crysis 3 at 1080p. if these cards oc really well and cost around £450, they will be a hit I think. otherwise no. I'm not even tempted to upgrade atm. the extra cost over a hd 7950 is a price of a hd 7950. So for me, it doesn't make sense to even consider this.

yeah and that was a dual gpu/pcb card. absolute monster. something like that would now cost $1000. Oh well, we're being ripped off. What makes me wonder is whether nVidia think it's worth paying £250 for some 20% performance increase.

And I got ~10500 for GPU score with one GTX 680 ages ago which was basically running at stock. With driver improvements, it would probably score more now. P10230 score.

I sure hope that AMD releases something awesome later this year, that should put NVIDIA in combat mode. Rehashing old products is bääääd. But hey, looks like I already have two GTX 770's!
