good choice my friend, if you don't need macro keys. Red switches are great for gaming, linear travel and quiet, the lightest switch on the market. What are you using now?
Yeh see on my G11 right now I have a whopping 18 macro keys on the left side. And I use NONE of them lol I'd prefer to just minimize and for me I like that the macro buttons are not on the side (like the Logitech are) and are above the function keys since I probably will not use them. Guess this is why its great that we have variety with our tech
My point exactly, to each their own. Tommy, get rid of that Saitek and go mechanical. You won't look back.
The Corsair K90 has pretty much identical features, and there are other boards out there that are also nearly identical. That was my point. I'm not saying it's not a good board, but there are plenty that provide exactly those features
K90 macro and F keys aren't mechanical, it's also too wide. Also not sure if it comes with brown switches.
I had the Razer Blackwidow 2013 but I found it too big for me, so I got the Razer Deathstalker wich is very simple but perfect for me. My brother is using my old Razer Blackwidow now and he loves it. It all comes down to what kind of keyboard is good for you I guess.
Good choice. Reds are imo the most hit or miss of the switches (they are extremely fast because of the low pressure, and thus my preference for typing as I'm a fast typist). But, they don't feel anywhere near the blue or brown ones in terms of clicky-ness. It's a great keyboard. I've had mine for just about a year. It's easy to clean, built well, and looks great. No LED's out yet. You can custom program which LED's you want on too, if you just prefer a certain area.
