    The guide is great.

I would just suggest moving the EQ settings list below the over-ride application settings as they are currently listed under enhance app settings. Maybe state that they are only available when you select override as well.

This is where my confusion came from.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Indeed, that's a part of the guide I had to think through carefully but based on the overall style and the fact that, as explained, the enhance mode specifically uses EQAA I had to settle on that format with the, admittedly slightly confusing, sampling drop down menu presented before the override mode section.

I did however try to go into that explanation by saying that it is not based on enhanced settings, but I see it it is confusing nonetheless, especially if skimming through the guide. I will have to think through this matter further and see if I can come up with a less confusing way to present it while keeping the overall guide style intact. It may however take some time in my old age.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    Should be there.

Only works for DX9 on 6xxx series however.

    What driver are you using?

woops, 6800 doesnt have coverage samples

    no eqaa for you

    sorry...

    from THG:

Starting with the Radeon HD 6900 series, AMD now offers enhanced quality anti-aliasing (EQAA), a mode that is essentially identical to Nvidia’s CSAA. Unfortunately, the ROPs in the rest of the company's Radeon portfolio (even including the Radeon HD 6800-series cards) are not able to handle EQAA, so most AMD graphics card owners won’t be able to take advantage of this feature. Nvidia owners have more flexibility in this respect, as the GeForce 8000, 9000, 200, 300, 400, and 500 series enable CSAA support.

wow, but I had "Enhance Application Settings" before, at least i think I did.

So now I can Only choose Override.... and Use application settings, thats not cool,

I think AMD should give us more options to choose from in CCC. Im not thinking Just about "Enhance app setting" option, but there should be a lot more options to choose from, just tlike in Nvidia CP.

    they have:
FXAA, Ambient occlusion,Max prerendered frames, threaded optimization, trilinear optimization etc...

why AMD dont have more options inside CCC? Is it because their hardware dont support them.

Is there any good software wich have more options to choose from?

    Radeon Pro, its the bomb...

Has FXAA, SMAA, Ambient Occlusion, and Sweetfx as well as more granular control over profiles.

EQAA is only for 6950 and above.

    Radeon Pro is very nice.

But just to make sure that Im using it in the right way, I have got to ask, When I click on Global and make some changes and then I save it, will this settings apply to my games?

Which driver are you using? I'm on 13.2 beta 5 and when I create a profile for BF3 and enhance AA to SSAA, it doesn't work. If I enhance AA globally, it does work.

    Great guide, thanks!

So Supersampling in Crysis 2 is a dead end? ToMMTi-Systems SSAA Tool doesn't seem to work in this game either. That's too bad, cuz those with nvidia cards can get SGSSAA working in Crysis 2 using the phenomenal program called Nvidia Inspector. Grrr I should a bought a geforce after all -_-

Has anybody gotten this to work with the latest drivers on the 7000 series? I've tried everything -- followed the instructions to make it run -- and I could never get it working.
