My current Flash Voyager USB 3.0 doesn't even work on USB 3.0.

As soon as i transfer files to it it disappears after 10 seconds. it only work with USB 2.0.

    Done that :)

I tried EVERYTHING, nothing makes it work on USB 3.0. Oh and the Corsair Support is well... non-existent.

I will stay away from Corsair Products in the future.

That's just terrible. Its write speed is faster than my 3 drive striped WD caviar black RAID array.

Got one as well, no probs whatsoever here man. Used it on many USB 3 motherboards to copy install and BIOS files.

I got my Factory Reconditioned drive today and it's suffering from the same symptoms.

Looks like that's it for me with Corsair USB Drives.

Works fine in the two USB 2.0 Ports i have, but when future Motherboards only support USB 3.0 this can go with the Trash.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit And i'm running Beta Bios F10c.

Btw, it happend on my previous Gigabyte Z87X-OC aswell. So clearly an issue with the Flash Drive.

My Western Digital Elements 1TB USB 3.0 work flawless on USB 3.0, as do other devices.

It's an issue with the Controller on the Flash Drive i bet, as it works fine on USB 2.0.

I'm not really into looking for a fix anymore. My next Flash Drive will be Kingston.

I've had 1 of my Corsair drives back about 4 times now, they all keep failing.

Ever since Corsair changed away from a 10 year warranty on their flash drives down to whatever they are now, they've been awful, and they just keep failing.

I loved the brand because they were always super reliable but now they just seem to die without any notice, got a friend who finds the same thing.

I've had a a few Patriot drives now and they've been perfect.

The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 G3 (128GB) for €81,- seems to be a really good one. Atleast TechPowerUp gave it a 8.9.

I remember i payed €66,- for the 64GB one from Corsair 2 years ago.

    EDIT:

I just checked my mail, and saw i have been send yet another Flash Voyager all the way from Tiawan.

I replied to my old Ticket yesterday, saying it still didn't work but i was okey with it for now.

But it seems the new one is already on it's way and they made a UPS Label to send the Refusbished on back. So this time it doesn't cost me anything.

I must say that's good service, i just hope for them it works this time.

I have a 32GB Corsair Flash Voyager GT USB 3.0 and not had any issues with it using USB 3.0 on my works laptop, clients laptops/PCs that have USB 3.0 and my home PC. Have 18GB of various stuff like unpacked office 2013, ISOs, large installers, drivers, client software of varying sizes and files etc and took about 5 mins to copy all 18GB to my PC, top speed was 175MB/s and slowest about 2MB/s when it hits lost of small files.

I did have one of their Orange 32GB Flash Voyager GTR USB 2.0 drives that just died one day, constantly flashing when plugged in so sent it back and they sent the drive I've described above which has been fine since October 2012 when it was replaced under warranty!

I know for sure it's not my PC, as it happend on my previous Motherboard aswell.

Besides, my Western Digital Elements 1TB USB 3.0 works flawless in USB 3.0 ports.

Will see if the second replacement works... fingers crossed.

I have a 128GB Flash voyager gtr. It used to be their fastest drive but it's limited to usb 2.0 speeds but it does get some of the best usb 2.0 speeds for a flash drive.

Is the GTX really as bad as this thread is making it seem? I was thinking of selling my gtr and getting a 128GB gtx. Probably won't need much out of pocket cash but maybe the gtr's sell for cheap now. Was like 300 dollars back in the day.

Well no 1 on ebay selling voyager gtr and nowhere to buy 1. I'm sure I could get 70% of the 128GB gtx price with my gtr. Should I do it?
