There's an fps cap of 60, or your monitor's refresh rate. Disabling vsync set's fps at your refresh rate (i know, even though vsync does the same thing). There are ways around the cap, but since there's no raw input, and your mouse sensitivity is tied to fps, having fps that wavers at all really messes with your aim because your sensitivity bounces with your fps. It's really annoying and must be fixed prior to release.

Having blown all that hot air... with 332.50 quadro I see no stutter and (vsync disabled) no fps drops. Occasionally it will hit 57 (lol), but it stays at a constant 60. I use insane textures, 4xmsaa, everything else high as it goes.

I forced MSI afterburner 60fps cap on top, but for some reason it lags here too, must be vram limitation, at high textures its a little better but not much.

ps, try 16xcsaa its will lower gpu usage and vram a bit..

As with previous driver set, desktop is laggy as hell in 2d Nvidia surround.

i use medium with my 1gb of vram and don't see stutters but fps drops sometimes probably due to my cpu but plays well nonetheless

Right, textures at high and no aa use ~ 1400- 1450mb @ 1080p.

Im using this now with MSI afterburner 60fps limit and in driver forced vsync (this helps a lot, ingame off), FXAA, negative LOD -1.0 to sharpen lower textures and runs good no more stutters.
Expect when I hit gpu wall and fps drops to 45-50fps then it doesnt look so nice.

Edit: adaptive vsync fixes that 45-50fps stutter, also fxaa + ingame 8xcsaa works ok, no conflicts with them.

Install over the top and select the "Clean install" option. I've had my Windows 7 build for 1.5 years and this has always worked perfectly fine. If it's not working fine then something is up with your system, most likely aids.

This driver caused really freaky artifacts on screen after installation. Thankfully they vanished after reboot but it was quite scary, looked like artifacts caused by faulty memory chips. Using 780 Ti Classy with W8.1 Pro

Cannot post pic because of stupid post count limit.

So stupid question. Was vsync and framerate limiter in inspector fixed? or does nvidia inspectors framelimiting still break vsync

Bright and dotted lines with rainbow of colors over whole screen. I ensured card was on stock clocks before installing the driver, not sure what caused this.

Yeah, hm sounds similar to my old gpu when 331.93 corrupted vram..

That Classy has OC'ed vram and maybe driver changed some latency on the fly and gpu probably didnt registered it correctly and corrupted.
Since its fine now after reboot.

Hopefully it was just a onetime thing. :)

Driver FXAA doesn't work again if MSAA is used (ingame or forced).
