Bigger, bolder, rougher and tougher, we review Corsair's new Hydro H105 liquid cooler. The H105 features a 240 mm radiator that is thicker then normal, with a 38 mm thickness. As comparison the H100 ... Corsair H105 gets review and is tested
Nice review. Glad to see thicker radiators on these AIOs. I also see the Noctua NH-D14 still holding its own.
I thought this could've performed a little better but I should've known by the model number that it wasn't going to be as good as my H110.
Yea my Nh-d14 stills kickass lol don't see a real reason to go water unless you want space and quiet !
Custom water blows the Noctua away along with any other air cooler, dont assume that AIO water coolers are the same as a highend custom setup. This rad looks about the same thickness as a MCR rad which is quite good, still not a patch on the RX360 and Thermochill range of rads.
I don't think anyone assumes an AIO is the same as a custom water cooling set up. Besides being a fraction of the cost and effort, they are basically just for folks looking for something that works just fine with moderate overclocking versus stuffing a big old air cooler dumping heat in your case.
