HD 7970: $479 HD 7950: $399 HD 7770: $139 http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/news/video/amd-confirms-price-drop-on-hd-7970-hd-7950-hd-7770-adds-3-for-free-game-promo/
Wonder if Nvidia will respond and drop their prices of their 680's (if they can, as they are in very short supply), as they are not worth buying now imo, as why buy a more expensive card for the same performance, but 1gb less ram
So I guess it's now a good time for 7970/7950 user to go CFx.... I hope most of the CFx gaming issues with 7970s has been rectified by AMD driver team by now.
i wonder if they will drop even more... hope not case then i will have to sell mine cheaper to buy the next generation 8970... my 6970 maintained the value for an entire year before i sell it...
you obviously missed every single review of the 680, I am more of a fanboy of truth than a company that gets my hard earned money. matter of fact, the 680 sli is not enough of an upgrade for me as a 580 sli owner. truth is your card is a close second and now at a good price point for consumers. cant go wrong with either now at these prices
I wonder if the energy efficient HD7750 will see a price drop too. $110 USD would put it too close to the HD7770 once the latter's price falls.
