I still think this new version is useless. People with a 560TI and 660 are still getting higher than you in GPU with like 700 cpu score. And my 7970 is useless as my 1700 cpu score does have the latest Haswell architecture But I don't really use this PC for gaming or anything so I don't really care
Its by all Cinebench openGL benchmarks I didnt test other stuff, idk what to test. Do you know anything? I did try Doom3 sikkmod, but it had the same fps drops to mid 50fps if I used bokeh DOF and fired plasma gun, it was a little better then my old cpu ~ 40fps but not much. I guess its inefficient bokeh code fault. By rage it ran smoother and I got 398 score (job 8 threads), my old quad with 4 or 8 thread got 198 max.
oh thats nice. yeah maybe it only does better on the newer opengl since doom3 is quite old. (or did they mod the opengl dll as well ?) What to test ? well i dunno, could try the unity benchmarks , some have opengl. but its hard to compare if you didnt try it with your old cpu. dont know many games that use opengl , amnesia, quake3, mohaa and the ones you mentioned.
Yeah Im kinda disappointed Sikkmod didn't ran better, maybe its win8 fault? I didnt try compatibility mode yet. I saw Gaussian DOF ran fine, also if i switched color grading from math to luma? it ran ok again with bokeh DOF, my old quad didnt have such boost. I will try heaven in openGL, but i will have to look through my picture online accounts if i have some old screens of that ^^

I'm getting beaten even when overclocked far beyond it's stock clocks.
Ok but recommendly you may buy Haswell to get improve performance in OpenGL test because Haswell is better efficient (average ~1.2 than Sandy Bridge) by each core for games/applications/demos. And it's very optimized especially for OpenGL (Cinebench only?). Attention: if you buy Haswell then you must change new motherboard.
Already have my 3930K, just waiting on enough cash for a new case before I swap everything over. Quad core ain't good enough for my audio work, sadly, especially given how crap haswell OCs.
i7-4930K has 6-core/12-thread and is very optimized for OpenGL Cinebench but your 3930K isn't optimized. Before: Haswell wasn't good OC in begin of june but now better.
Does Crossfire not work with this? I just ran it a few times and my 2nd GPU is registering 0% usage according to Afterburner.
These scores seem all over the place. I'm not complaining, but I don't think my scores are realistically that high. That or, my scores are that high, and its a lot of other systems here that the bench does not seem to like. idk
In windows 8.1 I got even higher gpu score at stock 770mhz - 160fps, cpu is 3 points lower, but I think its because I ran temp monitor in background. gpu stock 770MHz cpu 4.7GHz max gpu OC 930mhz 171fps
CPU@4.5Ghz, GPU reference 670.. Just did an extra run to see cpu usage during render test, uses 72-77% on all cores up to roughly 60-65% rendered, then it goes 100% usage for last 35-40%, also got a 100.27fps on GPU, guess result is +/- 5'ish.
