He posted a pic with a red arrow pointing to his cpu in the specs thread. I thought it was rather obvious. That was the processor he has and plans on using. He wasn't clueless at all, you guys missed the red arrow, I saw it right away. In otherwords that 6000+ IS his updated CPU. Sometimes people can't afford to go too far in the PC market. I'd not even recommend a GPU to him personally, but to put back money and afford even a Core i3 something at least.
Nope Airbud7 posted that to show that he has not updated his specs. Read the thread again he said later that he could not figure out how to update his specs the never said what he currently uses.
Welcome to the club. Way too many people already know what they want and disregard all suggestions otherwise. Waste of effort.
intel cpu + amd card = cursor bug intel cpu + nvidia card = happy gamer Though, there are some games that take advantage of the AMD card, for example RACE07. This game has antialiasing at 100% on amd card which is aweasome.
There are plenty of options on the nvidia side to add full "AA" sweetFX, downsampleing and Inspector. That CPU would bottleneck the 460 he had.
Well, as long as you don't play CoH 1 or Dota 2 then you are probably a happy gamer. Not sure about other games, but when i have the cursor bug on the middle of a match 2v2 online it's really a pain in the arse because i have to restart the system just to fix it. Using an Nvidia card i no longer have that problem, ya know what i mean?!
thanks again 3Dplayer , I just upgraded my my system , to intel i5 , ddr3 ram and a P8 z77.v mb , with the 760 2 g awesome !!!!
Friend has been playing Dota 2 for 100h on his 7970 and he confirmed that he doesn't have any cursor bugs. This bug you're talking about doesn't apply to all configurations, you know?
