The 750Ti really doesn't need a cooler like that. Can easily get over 1300mhz and still run cool.

I agree that cooler is overkill for a card like a 750Ti. It is like Gigabyte slapping their famous 3 fan Windforce cooler on it.

Wow, it has an 8-pin connector. Should be fun OC'ing this thing.

This is like the coolest running card on the planet - I mean the reference 750ti, having all that aftermarket extreme cooling is kinda crazy! Aren't most 750ti's limited by the maximum amount of voltage that is allowed to achieve an overclock, not the temperatures themselves. If that's the case, then this product is a waste, not requiring that kind of cooling.

This gets a backplate and my 780 doesn't, go figure :p.

What is crazy is you cant SLI this card. Its overkill cooler on it but it does look really nice regardless.

    Some of those as well
Take the fans off and have it passively cooled. That cooler is laughably excessive.

Wouldn't be bad having one of those as a PhysX card right? (I mean a 750ti, not necessarily this card with that cooler.). Would it be enough performance for a decent PhysX card? The good thing is it wouldn't use a lot of extra power & wouldn't create a lot of extra heat in the case.

Depends on the raw power of your primary card(s).

If you have a 3-way SLI 780Tis setup, then no, it won't be enough. You'd be better off with PhysX running on one of the 780Tis.

But it should be great for any single card configuration.

This would be epic with some crazy volt mods huge overkill otherwise

I just hope you can somehow relate from the 750Ti's oc abilities to those of the 880 or 880Ti :)
Thought of getting one of those for a 780 or 880 2 SLI setup, as in 780 SLI +750Ti physx, would that even make sense?

Cheers for the info, I like the idea of building a desktop one day, just learning about these things.

This massive cooling solution completely destroys the 750TI's strengths - cheap, small in build, consumes little power, etc.

No, it doesn't. The 750Ti is the best overclocking card ever. You buy this niche product to play around with it. That's it. If you want a low power version, then you can buy one. More options is not always bad.

I've also read that it overclocks like the cards in the old days. Maybe to get people buying 800s cards, but it's made quite some prominence on some htpc and small form factor pc boards I'm following. And usually they're not even using versions like this one, so there might be even more headroom with the 8pin power connector
