Do NOT get SSD for this build!

As people have said in this thread, you dont know what you are missing if you dont own one, so when you dont have one, it does not bother you. Main thing is that spend all you can on components which are harder and more expensive to replace. It's very easy to add SSD afterwards to that build and install OS to it. I would not recommend saving that money to SSD from CPU, RAM, MOBO or GPU because those are more expensive to replace and you are buying parts on price range where you get what you pay for.

I was just about to say the same thing....great choice of hardware and the 8320 will be more suited than 6300 for video rendering.

Only thing I would add is an aftermarket CPU cooler.

I wouldn't recommend downgrading the CPU. It's not worth it for what the OP's doing; his main task is rendering and he can always add an SSD later. SSDs are not considered essentials right now. If the OP want to upgrade later down the road, I would rather he do that later.

As for the PSU, I just grabbed that one because it was cheap. Tbh, that Cooler Master PSU isn't that bad. The Antec one's not bad either but if it's £10 cheaper, then why not. Do note that the difference for saving £10 is that thee PSU is 520W vs. 550W which the Cooler Master provides. It's not much, but it's something to keep in mind.

I refrained from adding an aftermarket cooler to the quotation because I didn't want to exceed the OP's budget by too much. To be honest, I would say the CM 212 EVO would do great for the CPU, it's another £25.45 if the OP wants to add on to the quote I quoted.

Btw don't get the Extreme3, it uses uncooled 4+1 phase vrm's and is not suitable for the 8320.

Agreed, I still stand by the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 since it has a 8+2 phase VRM and it has a VRM cooler on top.

The OP mentioned 16GB ram in his post, I assume he needs this much for his work.
