I know this sounds like a dumb recommendation but have you tried to flip the SLI ribbon?

Fixed... What are the chances eh!! Both my SLi cables were duff. I hunted around for a new one. Not easy unless you get them of e-bay and all fixed. Phew...!! Only thing now is after testing windows 8.1 I'm going to revert back to 7. Pony performance..
    Example. Asseto Corsa 80fps single card in 7, 55fps in 8... W.T.F
Anyways a big thanks to all that came to the thread.

Good to hear you got it sorted.

You will enjoy those. I'm eyeballing one of those Qnix monitors.

what is so good about those monitors? just because of the refresh rate at 1440p?
Is there any point in upgrading from my U2711?

Price, refresh rate, ~no display lag (~6.4ms @ 60Hz is a number, probably less at higher refresh rates), awesome semi-glossy coating, 1440p, IPS.

hallryu got a Qnix QX2710 after his Dell U2711. Pop over into this thread for impressions and maybe ask him some questions too.

EDIT: PLS, not IPS. But they're largely the same anyways.

Hmm might look into it. I see you have one as well. Can your cards keep up at 110hz? i have 2 770 lightnings, it should be similar in performance to urs so i can judge if i can do it as well.

Edit: i got the screen for free. so no big loss if i decide to get this Qnix.

Depends on game for sure but I see no problem currently, my target is 110FPS these days for all games. I keep AA off, and so far the only game which I felt I had to dial settings back to play at high FPS was Crysis 3. I set graphics at High, but TBH its mostly a CPU bottleneck with this game.

Intensive games generally have 70FPS mins mostly with CPU bottlenecks and I don't even know what numbers below 60 look like lol.
