music you play before a gaming session

I don't play warm up music for games. But if I did, it would almost certainly be, "Ricochet" by Tangerine Dream. Performed and recorded live in Berlin in 1973, a single 40 minute electro/synth music song that was probably 20 years ahead of its time. I still marvel at its genius to this day.

 

I use nothing, gaming and listening to music are 2 separate things for me.

 

When I was heavily into FPS games and played competitively I used to watch frag compilations, usually the music in those would get me going.

 

Exactly the same as me when competing in quake 3 online back in the day, no other games.
