I haven't really measured gamma at 65,70,72,75,85Hz for example. But I measured at 96Hz, 110Hz and the gamma increases with higher refresh rates. So I assume it does increase straight after 60Hz but I'll have to look into it. Profiles exist for 60,96,110, and 120Hz from many users so I wouldn't worry.

If you want to make sure your colors are accurate, then I say spring for a colorimeter package such as the Spyder4Express package. Runs you $100 but you get a very good sensor, the Spyder4 (should be equivalent to the Elite - doesn't measure black levels well, mind) for the price that you can use with free software that is much more powerful than what's included, mainly HCFR and ArgyllCMS (don't worry, they're easy to use. I use the second on my Spyder4).

If you want to go all out, then avoid the Spyder4Elite and go for the i1 Display Pro, top at its price point and one of the finest colorimeters out there.

    You're welcome man.

All I can say is wow, image quality is best I've ever seen, hands down beats my 23" dell IPS. Appears to be perfect no dead pixels an no excessive back light bleed. Seller packed it well an it made the journey intact, no complaints at all. Will start to test overclocking soon.

That pixel clock is too high. Tighten your timings! You'll get less gamma shift and no uniformity issues if you tighten your timings.

Start by using LCD reduced instead of LCD standard then work down your timings like in my post a few pages back (I've tightened my timings).

And congrats, how does 120Hz feel? :nerd:

    Amazing

Why do I need to tighten when it's doing almost 500MHz with zero problems?

    Still looks good

The display controller is capable of 450MHz. Tightening timings means you'll get less gamma shift (brighter colors, it's darkened now), better brightness uniformity, and less image retention.

I really recommend you tighten your timings as far as possible, there's no point in not doing it and it can achieve better results.

Remember that with all these monitors it seems that the PCB is the limitation. Less stress on the PCB = better.

Also, it'll allow you to use ICC profiles that are made for 120Hz tightened timings which will brighten up the colors again.

I have such a profile but for 110Hz tightened timings.

Mind providing a photo of this at 1/5 or 1/10 shutter speed for the sake of science? :nerd:

That's a good chunk better. I have 459MHz for 120Hz. You can tighten further but now you hit diminishing returns.

I edited my post, please check it out. :)
