    Windows 7 Driver Suppor 12/31/2014
I've been doing some testing on Windows 7 so I can retest AMD
Hardware Acceleration Support along with some minor application
Test (Company of Heroes 2). This game seems to be broken with most
drivers on Windows 7 so I've ultimately decided to setup the 13.9 Dx11
Files as the default driver for the next update. For those of you who
would like to update your package, you can download the 13.9 driver
and replace the current atidxx32 and atidxx64.dll with 13.9 Legacy
driver version of those dll's. Then re-install your driver.

Hardware Acceleration for Windows 8 12/17/2014

Previously I stated I would of release an Update for the Flash
GPU Acceleration Switcher, however I haven't got around to adding
it yet. Therefore I will provide the raw Workaround to enable Full
    Hardware Acceleration in Firefox.

    Firefox Full Hardware Acceleration Tutorial
-This should also apply to WaterFox.

    1. Type in about:config in Firefox Address Bar. (Open a New Tab).
    2. Accept the Message box then right click on any of the items.
    3. Highlight "New" and then select String to create a new String.
    4. Enter the Preference Name "plugins.force.wmode"
    5. Enter the String Value "Direct" or "GPU"
    6. Attempt to Play any Youtube Video in 1080p.

    Some Bugs You May Encounter
-60FPS Videos above 720p Will stutter.

    Other Thoughts (old)
For the last few weeks I've been working on improving Hardware
Acceleration for Web browsers running on Windows 8. This method
applies CPU Acceleration to Flash Videos played in Windowed mode
and GPU Hardware Acceleration to Videos played in Full Screen Mode.
if you have been using Firefox there should be no difference to the current
system, however if you use other Web browsers like Opera, Waterfox
etc, it should be able improve performance over the default setup if
you have a decent processor. Users with a Low End dual core Processor
will be able to play videos at 720p or lower when attempting to play a
    videos in Windowed mode.

    Other Thoughts 12/31/2014
I think I'll have to figure something out for users with a low end processor.

Well, I've made some progress in terms of creating a dynamic switching
system, but nothing was created for detection. I do have an Idea for a
detection system but I don't see things working out well when utilizing it.
Although adding the following (Multi Threading) may help, things still may
not work out correctly as I've yet to find a constant variable that would
    make dynamic switching complete.

Another Option would be placing restriction on certain processors or
automatically installing pepper flash for browsers that support the plugin.
If not, then a system that checks redirects the user to install pepper flash
for optimal performance (Ps, 1080p Videos only support Software
Acceleration with the current version of Pepper Flash.)

Although HTML5 may be another possibility for users with a low end
processor, Gpu Hardware Acceleration was not active when I tested
it on Opera and Chrome a few weeks back. Ill do another test to reconfirm.

Hardware Acceleration for Windows 8 11/15/2014
The next Update for Windows 8 will allow users to use Full
Hardware Acceleration for Firefox. When I say Full, I'm
referring to Hardware Acceleration in Windowed Mode.
This Update can be paired with the Current Flash GPU
Acceleration to further decrease CPU activity. As result,
Legacy Users may be able to experience improved performance.

One other benefit from this would be the ability to accelerate the
current version of Flash Player (15.0.0.189) without having to apply
    the older version.

    Note:
This will be implemented Via the Flash GPU Acceleration Switcher
as I would like to test it for Device + Web App Compatibility before
adding it to the profile System.

    Asphalt 8 Airborne UPDATED 10/25/2014
Asphalt 8 no longer has the Black Texture Bug Please give it a try If you
are amongst one of the many people that play that Game.

    Some Information:
The only Update prepared at the moment is for the DX9 Swither
    -Driver Cleaner and Package Cleaner
    -Flash GPU Acceleration
    ------------------------------------------------------------
I did work on improving driver installation and some files did
get updated. I can probably release those but I don't plan on
releasing anything else until the profile system and the update
    system is implemented.

The New Profiling System I've been working on is close to completion
for x64Bit Operating System. However, the number of games currently
supported is limited to only two games. Here is some information
about the Games that are currently supported.

    Games Currently Supported

    Title: Company of Heroes 2
Support Level: Permanent, but requires user to install the Performance
Switcher. Otherwise the Game will get block by the Profiler when user
    attempts to start the game.
Description: Resolves a bug in which Users may encounter a black
screen or even a BSOD during gameplay.

    Other Thoughts:
I'm also currently working on Hardware Acceleration Profile
for Switchable Graphics to as an attempt to improve Hardware
acceleration. Therefore I may need some Testers.

    Note:
The Hardware Acceleration Profile only applies to Switchable
Graphics Users using Fixed Mode (Requires User Manunally
switch their GPU between high end and power saving).

    Previous Anouncement
I've decided to drop Support for Windows 8 Users as developers for Metro apps seems to have moved on. Some Metro apps like Asphalt 8, Youtube apps, and others applications have two versions. (Windows 8 Uses the old version while Windows 8.1 has the latest Version). Therefore I would like to ask everyone to upgrade their Operating System to Windows 8.1 and remove and re-install all apps previously used in Windows 8.

    Recommended Apps to Remove:

-All Video Applications. (Microsoft Applications can remain however,
you must make sure that all appications are updated through
    Windows Store.)
-All Game Applications (Only applies if you downloaded them when using
    Windows 8)

If you have experienced performance gains in a specific game when using a Performance Switcher, please post your results, state the name of the game along with the Lowest, Average and Highest FPS for each Switcher used for the game.

Tip For Users who Use Multiple Cleaners
When using Multiple Cleaners along with
aSimple CleanUP Utility it's recommended for
Users to Use the Cleaners in the Following Order.

    1. aSimple Cleanup Utility
    2. Alternate Cleaner
    3. Alternate Cleaner

The reason for this is, aSimple CleanUp Utility Searches
the registry for location of files and folders to perform a thorough
clean. Thus if those registries are removed and cannot be located
many files and folders will continue to build (Taking Up Hard Drive Space)
The name of these files are automatically assigned by Windows.

    Other Thoughts
Users Can also use the Default AMD Cleanup to remove the Files and folder
then perform a Cleanup by any Third Party Cleaner to get around the Bug.

Another Way Users can get rid of those Files and Folders
is by performing a Full System Cleanup Via aSimple Cleanup Utility.
However this method will Uninstall all Installed Software as attempt
resolve software related bugs due to a bad installation.

Ok.. did some general playing and lite benchmark on 10 games using this driver..!!

    Result for my HD 4650:

This driver is having a bad avg fps. I mean,, the peak FPS count for games are very good and very high but .. the low's are very very low.. and so it is not giving a smooth game-play .

    Massive trouble in games :

    Assassins Creed III
    Hitman Absolution
    Prototype 2
    Medal Of Honor WarFighter

rest all games had a performance degrade.. :(

    Final Word :

I liked the 12.10 modded Dellon more than this one :)

EDIT : Found problem with the ' atiumdva.cap '. The cap file included in this driver is from the 12.11 beta 11 Actual package right, so I'm not able to play videos. but when I replace the cap file with the one in the 12.10WHQL Original the video starts playing.. Dellon have the look at this issue .

I think AMD will release 12.10 very soon. They have to patch some security vulnerability in the software.

    Ok thats good...

But it will be more good if they try to fix some bugs and try to improve a bit of performance for the DX10 part of the HD4000 series GPUs...

just a new catalyst for only a security vulnerability fix does not feels nice :)

Great community of modders - THANK YOU!

As it was not enough that many times we have to rely on selfless actions of videogames' modders who work in most cases for free to help the others enhance their gaming experience and/or solve problems instead of the devs...

Nowadays, we need similar creative and adventurous people, who are enhancing our gaming experience on even lower level, i.e. the graphic drivers.
In other words the gigantic company which we payed (not a little) for their products made from sand and a few metals is unable to provide their customers with basic support, i.e. optimizing the drivers for new games.

So clearly, Mr. Dellon132 is more competent than the whole friggin' amd.
That is something to remember during my next card purchase.

This kind of aggressive marketing strategy: "buy a new card from us at least every 3 years or F U! and eat our lies about quarterly support" is beyond! all understanding and either amd should really quickly change its menageriement or their slippery slope to bankrupcy is willful and intentional.

I pray to you, Dellon132:approval:, for early 64bit version of your modded drivers..:givebeer:

And don't mind any trolling, name calling, jealous, incapable twats who will try to throw their poisonous spits on your efforts..

Unless the performance is connected to a certain bug in a certain game you shouldn't expect any performance increase whatsoever for legacy cards. They've basically squeezed as much as possible from the 4k and 5k series and are working mainly on increasing performance for the 7k series (as they get better at understanding the new GPU) and improvements for the 6k series should also show up.

Obviously there are cost-effectiveness in the equation and it's just not viable to have a separate team work on legacy card drivers not to mention the mess and trouble the current driver developers would have if they would have to cover every card from the 3k-series all the way up to the 7k-series and give each GPU equal amount of work. We'd see a driver release every 6 months at most.

The biggest difference between AMD and nVidia when it comes to legacy products is that the nvidia drivers are bloated with unchanged old legacy drivers. AMD decided to separate legacy drivers from the main kit. And really, with a 4k-card you shouldn't need any new drivers unless there's bug in a certain game, and then you must find out if it's a driver issues or a game bug, then you must create an issue report and wait for a hotfix for that particular issue if they can recreate it.

I disagree with the people who defend AMD without having a legacy card but.. my next build will be based on an AMD apu processor. Ironic, huh? The apu's gpu is strong enough to play light games.
