I got baked and watched that TED film with the hopes of it hitting some level as a stoner comedy only to be disappointed. 2/10... More of a kids movie if anything...
Right Prometheus was suberbly acted from the main cast, shot beautifully and had some insanely good CGI. But as a massive fan of the Alien series I was very disapppointed it created more questions and gave literally zero answers. The blu ray with the extra footage is a joke and also adds nothing to it. Old Boy is one of the most over rated films ever. Its a piece of **** that is in no way entertining or shocking. Frebch horror is where its at! Martyrs, inside, frontiers, etc are som of the best horror movies in decades. The Cabin In The Woods whilst being American was also a great homage to horror cinema and was extremely entertaining for a horror buff. A Serbian Film (uncut) is an extremely powerful movie going very very farin terms of gore and subject matter. Again well acted and looks incredible for such a low budget. I also have Very Very high hopes for the new Evil Dead movie that red band trailer looks insane!!!
gonna watch oldboy in a minute some other nice onese ive seen war of the arrows true legend Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen Seven Swords House of flying daggers azumi watched oldboy. didnt like it, too much drama imo
Sinister (2012) 8/10 Man I don't even know how to describe this movie. I don't usually get that creepy feeling from watching horror/psychological movies but this one did it's job from start to finish. It had it's slow moments, but paid off in between. Typical ending though. The wife and I still enjoyed it. :nerd:
It is a above average movie with a average ending. I liked the movie but the ending is too predictable.
i recently watched FLIGHT, it was very predictable, boring and misleading, it was a movie about addictions, not an action/drama movie "on a plane". also it was filled with all kind of ball breaking religious crap that i absolutely despise. on the other hand Denzel Washington's acting was very good and i loved Goodman's acting in this movie, not enough to save this tripe of a movie. 3/10
Great popcorn movie! I enjoyed it and the trilogy was decent. Cheesy, but decent. We have to remember that the first movie was shot by teenagers I believe (correct me if i'm wrong). Also this. I love this movie. The story is great, but I am just into these sort of mysterious things and I really liked the music in the film, as quirky as it can be at times. This movie was also good, but I watched it when I was young, so some of you old farts might disagree. If you think about the story of the movie and just imagine it for a while in your mind, it is a bit creepy, but interesting also. And lastly this. (Excalibur) I have watched this movie since I was a kid. I just love the armor! the sounds of it and how the actors move around in it. A set of good actors as well. Music was good and the action scenes were great also in my opinion. The Camelot design was cool as well since it was all shiny :nerd:
Charlie Chaplin - The Great Dictator. Really loved the speech in the end. Charlie Chaplin - A great actor, director, writer, producer and composer.
Saw cloud atlas yesterday. ill give it a 6/10. 3hours is way too long imo, and if you would bring out all stories as independant movies, they wouldnt be that interesting. also saw tai chi zero and tai chi hero - quite enjoyed it - 7.5/10
Looks like the Cry of Fear loading screen actually: Spoiler edit I don't doubt it was probably done before cry of fear too
I am missing my weekly zombie fix and waiting one more week for Walking Dead was just not happening, I obtained a copy of the latest Resident Evil movie. The doctor says my eyes will stop bleeding just in time for the new episode of Walking Dead.
Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome 5/10 Lens flare hell, also i dont mind if they replace F.UCK with FRAK, but do they really have to say it about 300 times ? seriously what were they thinking ? What the frak ? motherfraker Did you frak her ? etc etc Bad movie. rated 8/10 on imdb nonetheless
Well that was a BSG thing, not BC watched that yet but sounds overdone in the same way some films overdo the use of f.uck. I have only watched the first 8 min episode, but got the feeling all the lense flare was there to help hide the cheap CGI. Recently watched The Hobbit, nice 3D but just as dull as the previous movies, it does pick up in the second half though. 6/10
