^ most likely yes! However, in this case it was a good thing CPC held the guy as he knew about the boat / there could be other dogs there too. So yeah, the alternate moral here I guess is to try and do the right thing, even if someone has just done something absolutely wrong.
The guy did nothing to escape or fight? Must of been a coward and a pussy lol. He just sat there and waited for the guy to jump in, save the dog and patiently waited for the cops to come.
I guess that makes sence.I get all crazy and cant control myself in certin senarios like that 4 example.Or if you mess with my family I will Die I dont give a crap! But ill take you down with me at the very least. No retreat no surrender!Van damme style.
It will be interesting to see the outcome of this case, as we have some slick briefs over here in the UK who would be able to make out that the rescuer was the assailant, just because he held on to the guy until the police arrived. Still, that'll be even more dog turds to festoon some pavement in the near future. Not all dog 'lovers' carry little bags around with them.
Perhaps he saw the error of his ways... or then CPC is just so intimidating you do what he says. Just look at his avatar. If someone looking like that told me to stand still, I'll stand still
Haha, yeah. Regardless of how it happened, it was the right thing to do. Poor animal, it's innocent and didn't deserve to be dumped.
Just give my statement to the police who thanked me for what I did. The guy has been released this morning, and will be questioned later in the week (he lives literally a two minute walk from the police station). The two dogs are safe and well with the RSPCA now who are also looking to press charges against the guy for animal cruelty. I will again keep you guys posted as I know more stuff. Looks like it will be going to court in the next 6 months. I have been to court before to give evidence so I know what to expect and what type of questions the defence can ask so I am prepared for that. Also, people tend to do what I say I am 6ft 7" tall, size 15 shoe (UK size), and am 21st (not fat just stocky). So when I grab hold of someone they tend to listen
Size always matters. :eyebrows: It's usually the small frustrated people that are agressive and abuse animals to compensate lack of manhood versus well... another man. Even though going to court can be a hassle, it is worth it in the end.
That's a completely different story. We're not talking about a child molester, rapist, or a man who cut a journalist's throat. This is just a man, who might be living in a pit, not having the best in life, did something bad to an animal. No matter how bad what he did, still he did it to a dog, an animal. Just an animal. Not a human being.
Hell yeah, take a bow good sir, you have my utmost respect! What I do find worrisome is his past transgressions, who knows what he has done. Hopefully this was his first and last inhumane act.
Wow, nice job on that one. Some people should NOT be pet owners. What in the hell was this douchebag thinking throwing a live animal into the canal?? I hope he is getting charged with animal cruelty, although I don't know the laws in the UK
well done mate, the guy is an utter douche for doing that, if he didn't want the dog any more, he should have just taken it to a shelter, it's that simple. Tosser.
What size of pup was it ? Not trying to be a d1ck or rain on your parade just wondering, if it was older he could have been trying to get it to swim, no ? Mind you, it does sound like he was just a tosspot.
