MSRP is 149$. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...kwCjCV1-CjCE&gclid=CNe23LCmm7YCFQnznAodjgwA4Q thats 130 w/ rebate 150 without. 650ti boost is pretty much neck and neck with a7850 and evga is 169$ 2gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130909 2gb 7850 is 200+, i wouldnt take a 169 2gb card over a 1gb 179$ card, would you
its pretty much half a 680 with cuda cores, not a bad card with decent performance. think that TD is just a regular 650ti its a dinky card
Just read the review on that new 650ti boost its about the performance of the 6950/70 really nice for the price.
There are multiple HD7850's with 2gb of memory for under the $200 mark on Newegg, generally ranging from 170 + with MIR. I'd link but Newegg seems to be having server difficulties. Depends on what you prefer and whether you overclock.
It isn't for me, could be a problem between myself and the server since I'm in the UK. Sort by price lowest > highest. There's 7850 2gb IceQ models for around the 180 mark, there's also a Diamond for just over $170 with MIR. Not sure if there's others cheaper after rebate as the site stopped loading for me not long after that point.
the ti boost smokes a 7790 and is 3% faster overall compared to 7850, def the better buy http://tpucdn.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_650_Ti_Boost/images/perfrel.gif site is acting funky right now.. wonder if theyre doing maintenance
^ that is the only site I've seen that has the 650 Ti ahead of the 7850. In every bench I've seen its under. Its a good card, don't get me wrong, I just don't think its priced to move. I've also been having issues with Newegg btw...
I would argue that the 7770 is better than the 6870 in almost every way. Better more up to date architecture, overclocks like hell, runs cooler and quieter, will have longer driver support, consumes less power. Sure on paper the spec show that the 6870 has more grunt but I would go with the 7770 over the 6870 any day. On the other hand if your upgrading from a 6870 to a 7770 that would be a bad upgrade as you would get less performance in certain games and you would have to scale back on certain settings a little.
theres a website called guru3d with a 650ti boost review http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_650_ti_boost_review,9.html cycle through all the games
^ ok, according to that its ahead in some and behind in others. That is the 2gb 650 Ti Boost vs the 1gb 7850 I'm guessing though. At the high resolutions Hilbert was testing those at, the 2gb would surely benefit in some scenarios, so that is not a surprise.
At the moment you can get a 7850 2GB for $159.99 after rebate. $179.99 regular price. Link I also agree that the Ti Boost is a great card, but arguing over small price differences is going to lead into a spiral.
Damn, that is a good deal! OP if you see this, this deal would be hard to pass up. Pair this with the FX-6300 you were looking at and you'd be golden.
