Add the games exe as a gaming process aka game mode.
I will post my ProcessLasso config when I get home later today.

As promised. my prolasso.ini, it's under: options > advanced tools > manually edit the current INI configuration file...

Adding games via the menu is done under: options > categorization

Not sure if you got pro balance and some of the other things in the free version, but you won't miss out much either by not having those.

    Thanks!

I have added GW2.exe to the game mode. Why do I need to manually change the ini? Surely I just need to tell the program that I want the game to use all cores or something.

Your FPS will drop in cities no matter the rig you are on, especially if you play max settings. This is the case with many MMO's, even with lesser graphics.

Mineria getting, lots of errors with your ini, something about wrong strings.

I added the exe to the game multimedia, when play the app autodetect it and activate the game mode, have to do something more?

I've tried all the suggested drivers, all do the same. Disabling VSync isn't something i usually do but in this case it doesn't help anyway. Honestly using supersampling in this game doesn't seem to affect performance that much or at all when compared to Native, and image is much sharper.

All of the checklist options are ticket as none seems to improve performance in LA which is a city and is where it drops performance a lot.

Honestly i think it just got worst the more drivers i've installed on after the other (clean install, reboot), i think i need to just uninstall, reboot, clean, reboot, install new ones.

PS: I used Process Lasso as well, and forcing the 4 cores seems to do nothing.

You shouldn't add my ini, since I got the payed version of the program, so some options may not be available in the free, I suspect that's what you are using.
You just add the game and activate pro balance if possible.
Posted the ini so people can check it up against their own to see if there where differences, a free program called WinMerge is good for that.

You should not force cores with Process Lasso, this is only something you do in rare occasions, gaming mode is all that is needed and pro balance if it's available.
Helped a lot with my CPU, without I saw constant heavy spikes on one core from GW2.

Supersampling takes 10% + fps on my end, plus that it seems to cause stuttering, I use a native resolution of 1920x1080, he supersampling method might use another format than 16:9?

LA doesn't really have any impact on my fps compared to WvW at least, but the game is still pretty fluid and playable for me.
I use 1GB fancy cache, read only with default settings on the rest as well, but that doesn't have a huge impact since the game is placed on SSD.
You might gain a bit there if you got it on a HDD, heard that the game streams a lot from disk, which block level caching should have some effect on since the game itself just has one huge file to stream from.

Anyway, the game engine needs some tweaks, since it shouldn't be needed for people to tweak their systems to make it run smooth.

I'm tired of play GW2 for his eternals load times, for load the game and every time you change a map....

Putting it on an SSD helps on that part. At least my load times are usually ~10s. You don't zone all the time anyway.

Okay, i've been testing the game, FPS got worse, stutter started to appear. After adding GW2 to Process Lasso and set it to game mode and also Power profile to Gaming Mode Power Plan while running this process seems to eliminate pretty much all stutter and reduced FPS jumps.

For some reason i can't figure out what caused this FPS drop after i started to install dif drivers, i think it has to do exactly with that.

Next WHQL i'll uninstall and use an utility to clean the driver files after reboot and THEN i'll install a new driver, hopefully it helps when it comes to messed up driver files.

I'd refrain from such utilities, I've installed almost every beta driver back and forth so far and never had to use an additional tool. All I do is export the profiles (Inspector), select the clean reinstall option and then import the profiles again.

Ambient Occlusion problems on my rig seem gone after upgrading from my dual 460 to dual 660ti.
